The Origins of the Void Society
The Void Society emerged from the uncharted depths of the cosmos circa 2199, where only the most fearless dared to tread. A select cadre of elite pilots, engineers, and explorers united with a singular goal: to conquer the void and unravel its mysteries. Their first victory was the discovery of The Nexus, a hidden star system that now serves as the Society’s fortified sanctuary. For a centuries the Society’s existence was hidden to the public, rumored to exist yet no one could ever prove it before the year 2955 following a deep undercover investigation. It has since then been officially acknowledged, though the Society’s goal and true reach remains largely unknown outside of its discreet members.
Key Milestones
- Year 2199: The Society codified its principles and welcomed its founding members.
- Year 2203: Its fleet braved the perilous Abyss Rift, a passage nobody had ever survived before.
- Year 2955: Following an unsanctioned independent investigation referred to as the “insidergate incident”, The Void Society was publicly exposed and earned its reputation as a secretive galactic powerhouse, its influence echoing through the stars.
