Welcome to the Vanguard Coalition, an elite Star Citizen organization. We specialize in tactical, reconnaissance, logistics, and support operations. Join our community and become a part of our mission.
DiscordFounded in 2954, the Vanguard Coalition emerged from the crucible of the Vanduul War.
As UEE forces pushed back the Vanduul, a cadre of elite soldiers sought renewed purpose beyond the battlefield. United by shared hardship and an unwavering commitment to justice, they established the Vanguard Coalition to bring disciplined, principled security to the UEE frontier.
Bounty contracts in the Stanton system provided an ideal proving ground for strike teams—known for precision extractions and fair dealings. Pilots, tacticians, and support specialists from across the ’verse volunteered for service, and mission revenues funded recruitment, infrastructure, and the establishment of permanent bases.
On 2 June 2954, Vanguard Coalition founders ratified the Charter to formalize command structure and member rights. They then formed the four-seat Command Council, comprising Tactical, Intelligence & Reconnaissance, Logistics, and Support divisions. The Charter defined rank progression (Recruit → Trainee → Specialist/Operative → Advanced Specialist → Officer → Captain) and enshrined the motto: “Stand as the Vanguard; justice through strength.”
Contract revenues enabled acquisition of an RSI Polaris in November 2954, significantly extending operational range and torpedo firepower. Equipped with a self-contained hangar, the corvette became the Coalition’s swift-strike and interdiction platform.
Vanguard Coalition reconnaissance and mapping teams also supported the UEE survey of the Pyro system, contributing to Coalition survey findings on volatile environments.
Building on prior successes, Command secured the Idris-class corvette VCNS Ardent Spear in May 2955. Outfitted with a size-10 laser beam and reinforced armor, the Ardent Spear anchors every task force while the Polaris provides flanking support. Encouraged by its performance, Command approved an upgraded Idris-M to accompany and eventually replace the current Idris-P.
To shield these capital assets, a screen of Aegis Hammerheads was deployed, forming a defensive perimeter against fighter wings and missile barrages.
Logistics and Support divisions expanded in tandem. The Drake Caterpillar established forward supply runs, while salvage crews aboard the Aegis Reclaimer Iron Covenant repurposed battlefield wreckage into vital resources. For medical and rescue missions, the Coalition relies on the Cutlass Red while awaiting deployment of the RSI Apollo series and RSI Galaxy.
During orbital assault trials beginning in late March 2955, Vanguard Coalition task forces provided critical targeting and relay support for UEE capital ships. The Polaris coordinated deep-strike vectors while Hammerheads established fire-control screens, refining orbital bombardment protocols and improving surface-to-space lock accuracy.
In environmental stress tests beginning mid-June 2955, Coalition Recon teams mapped dynamic weather patterns in the Pyro system, informing the Coalition’s environmental hazard protocols and visibility procedures. Support elements deployed Cutlass Red med-evac units and Vanguard interceptors to validate performance under ash-cloud conditions.
The Vanguard Coalition now stands as a disciplined, multi-divisional force, renowned for tactical prowess and unwavering dedication. Whether escorting convoys through GrimHEX’s neon haze or training alongside Crusader Security above Orison, the Coalition remains steadfast in its mission: fielding skilled crews, executing righteous contracts, and protecting the UEE frontier with resolve.
In the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe, where chaos and lawlessness often reign, the Vanguard Coalition stands as a beacon of justice and security. We are united by our unwavering commitment to uphold order, protect the innocent, and bring those who threaten peace to justice.
