Vanguard Initiative – History
Origins (2950)
Forged in 2950 by RADM Steven Jones, the Vanguard Initiative was born from disillusionment with the UEE’s corruption and inefficiency. Veterans, freelancers, and outlaws seeking redemption united under one banner—to defend humanity where the Empire would not.
Securing Stanton (2951–2952)
From the Siege of Terra Mills to countless strikes against pirates and smugglers, the Vanguard earned its reputation through discipline and decisive action. Miners, traders, and settlers abandoned by the UEE came to see the Initiative as their shield.
Expansion & Alliances (2953–2955)
Establishing a stronghold at Levski, the Vanguard grew into a military and economic power. Alliances with miners, traders, and corporations expanded their reach, while victory against the Vanduul Incursion of 2954 solidified their role as humanity’s frontline defenders.
The Schism (2956)
A failed coup led by Captain Tiberius Hale threatened the Initiative’s core values. RADM Jones crushed the rebellion and reaffirmed the organization’s creed: to protect, not conquer. The Schism forged the Vanguard into a leaner, stronger, and more disciplined force.
Golden Era (2957–2960)
Alliances with the Terran Merchants Guild, NovaCorp Mining, and the Outer Rim Trade Coalition marked a period of prosperity. The Vanguard became both sword and shield of the frontier, balancing military might with economic influence.
Present Era (2973–Now)
In the age of Alpha 4.3.0, the ‘verse itself is changing. Pyro burns with unrest, Stanton tightens under corporate rule, and the Vanguard stands ready. With specialized divisions—Fleet Command, Strike Force, Ground Division, Recon & Intelligence, and Logistics—the Initiative remains a disciplined, respected, and feared independent power.

Manifesto
Our Vision
The galaxy is vast and dangerous. The UEE cannot protect every frontier. The Vanguard Initiative brings order to chaos, unity to division, and security to those abandoned by politics and greed.
We are not mercenaries or pirates. We are disciplined soldiers, pioneers, and protectors. Our creed: Victory through Unity.

Led by RADM Steven Jones, we defend humanity from pirates, outlaws, and alien threats, strike where others falter, and guide through discipline and order while thriving as a military and economic power.
Charter
Vanguard Initiative – Rules
To maintain professionalism, fairness, and respect both within the organization and toward the greater Star Citizen community, the Vanguard Initiative abides by the following rules. These apply to all members in-game, on comms, and in public forums.
1. Respect All Players
No Toxic Behavior – Harassment, trolling, or toxicity toward any player is forbidden.
Professionalism – In combat or conversation, uphold the Initiative’s honorable reputation. Avoid derogatory language or conduct.
2. No Griefing or Piracy
No Griefing – Do not harass or repeatedly target players without purpose. All engagements must serve a tactical or strategic reason.
No Piracy – Attacking neutral cargo haulers, traders, or civilians is prohibited unless they are marked hostile or declared KOS by leadership.
3. Engage in Fair Combat
No Exploits or Cheating – Game exploits, cheats, or hacks are strictly forbidden.
Honor PvP – Respect duels and consensual PvP. Fight fairly, fight clean.
4. Alliance & Diplomacy
Respect Allies – Hostile actions or trolling against allied organizations are forbidden.
Diplomatic Courtesy – Only authorized members may speak on behalf of the org. All interactions must remain professional.
5. Non-Aggression Policy
Neutral Players – Do not attack neutrals unless they pose a direct threat. Confirm hostility before engaging.
Avoid Escalation – Vanguard fights for purpose, not destruction. Avoid unnecessary conflict.
6. Public Streaming & Representation
Streaming Etiquette – Members must represent the org positively while streaming. No trolling or disruptive behavior.
Public Forums – On Spectrum, Reddit, or Discord, remain respectful. Do not engage in flame wars.
7. Trade & Commerce
Fair Trading – No scamming or fraud.
Respect Contracts – All agreements with other players or orgs must be honored in full.
8. Conflict Resolution
Seek Peace First – Resolve disputes diplomatically before resorting to violence.
Report Issues – Bring grievances to leadership rather than retaliating.
Enforcement
Members who violate these rules will face disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the org.
By following these rules, every Vanguard member helps preserve the Initiative’s integrity, honor, and strength. Together, we ensure the Vanguard Initiative remains a respected and formidable force in the galaxy.
