History
February 15, 2955 – The first members of the UNFORTUNA Network band together to embark upon illicit activities… only to fall victim to a glitch in the matrix and lose all progress.
March 22, 2955 – Pirates raid a transport at the Stanton Gateway and murder a member of UNFORTUNA. Network-contracted assassins are sent to hunt them down. The pirates are never seen again.
April 30, 2955 – The second batch of members is inducted into the organization, expanding the numbers of free agents throughout Pyro and Stanton. UNFORTUNA grows.
May 2, 2955 – Shell Corporations for the Network are established, giving lawful players access to contribute to the organization without partaking in criminal activities.

‘Nulla Fortuna Maior’ – ‘no fortune to great’
The UNFORTUNA network was born with one purpose in mind: To embrace the freedom of the ‘verse. As wanderers in a vast and foreign land, the goals and purpose we find for ourselves are OURS to create.
We choose who we are in the ‘verse, but that does not mean we must find out alone. Across every system, there are Network Agents in every field. Whether it be mundane and monotonous, or exciting and dangerous, this organization exists for the sole purpose of bringing people together.
Most of the time, this leads to unforeseen circumstances. Sometimes it leads to disaster and sometimes it leads to unforgettable moments. But throughout it all, something keeps us coming back. And in the pursuit of happiness, we find ourselves on common ground.
Grab a mining laser, or pick up a rifle, the choice is yours. But whatever you choose, you’ll be in good company.

The Cutthroat Code
“From the burning skies of Aberdeen to the verdant plains of Bloom, the Cutthroat Code is gospel, ‘lest you seek to seal your doom. Amongst the Network, UNFORTUNA, there stands three tenets we hold steadfast, a sacred creed for those in need who live to breathe their last.”
1) The members of UNFORTUNA are Family. We don’t kill our own. Bad blood is poison to the org as a whole, so that gets squashed as soon as it becomes known.
2) Help the newcomers. We might be brigands and outlaws, but we’re not monsters. Show the rookies the ropes, teach them how it’s done. Who knows, they could be the ones who save your skin in the future.
3) Freedom Reigns. Ultimately, the goal of the org is to have fun and find others who wanna do stuff with you in the ‘verse. You are free to come and go as you please, as long as you don’t cause any trouble during your stay.
