The Legend of the Unholy Paladins

Long ago, when the world was still shifting with the weight of empires, there rose a warrior known as General-Paladin. He was a man of vision, a forger of legacies, and with his hand he helped shape a great power—an order called Castra Dynamics. It was said this order would endure like stone, a bastion where comrades stood as brothers.

Yet in the shadows of ambition, rot had already taken root. Those whom General-Paladin trusted most, the very men and women he lifted into strength, betrayed him. They struck not with steel, but with treachery, casting him down. Betrayal became his crucible, and his faith in false crowns turned to ash.

From that ruin, General-Paladin swore an oath: never again would he or his kin be left unguarded. Out of exile and broken bonds, he gathered the discarded, the outcast, and the loyal who refused to kneel. Together they forged a new brotherhood—The Unholy Paladins.

They bore no gilded armor, no empty banners. Their oath was not to thrones or titles, but to each other. Where others sought dominion, they sought protection. Where others ruled with fear, they stood as a shield for their kin and their allies.

In time, their legend spread. To enemies, they were specters clad in iron, unyielding and merciless. To friends, they were guardians in the dark, protectors who stood unbroken when all else fell away.

And so it is told:
The Unholy Paladins are not bound by holy writ nor sanctified temple. They are bound by loyalty, tempered by betrayal, and forged in fire. They are the oathbreakers who became oathkeepers, the outcasts who became a brotherhood.

They are the Unholy Paladins—an eternal shield against the hand of treachery.

Manifesto

## 1. Loyalty Above All

  • Members swear unwavering loyalty to the Unholy Paladins and to each other.
  • Betrayal of the order or its allies is the gravest sin, punishable by expulsion and dishonor.

## 2. Strength in Unity

  • We stand together in battle, in counsel, and in hardship.
  • No member shall be left behind, whether on the field or in times of need.

## 3. Honor the Oath

  • Words spoken as a Paladin are binding.
  • Promises made in the order’s name must be kept, lest the reputation of all be tarnished.

## 4. Protection of Allies

  • Those under our banner or within our shield shall not suffer alone.
  • We extend our strength to defend our allies, so long as they remain true.

## 5. Discipline & Conduct

  • Every member represents the Unholy Paladins—strength must be tempered with discipline.
  • Reckless acts, dishonor, or needless cruelty weaken the whole.

## 6. Conflict Resolution

  • Disputes within the order shall be settled with respect, either by council or by trial of skill, never by treachery.

## 7. The Eternal Vigil

  • Members remain ever watchful for betrayal, corruption, or threats to the order.
  • We do not bow, we do not break—we endure.

## 8. Legacy & Growth

  • Each Paladin is charged with teaching and guiding those who follow.
  • The order grows not just in numbers, but in wisdom and strength, carried from one generation to the next.

Purpose

The Unholy Paladins exist to protect their own and their allies against betrayal, oppression, and chaos. Formed from the ashes of deceit, they are a sanctuary for those abandoned by others, and a force that wields both resolve and strategy to ensure loyalty is honored and justice is meted out.

Organizational Structure
  • Grand Paladin (Leader/Founder): Visionary and ultimate authority; sets the strategic direction.
  • Council of Blades (Advisors): Senior members guiding decisions, overseeing operations, and mentoring new Paladins.
  • Paladin Commanders (Division Leaders): Each leads a specialized unit—combat, intelligence, diplomacy, or logistics.
  • Sentinels (Core Members): Trained members who carry out missions, enforce rules, and mentor recruits.
  • Acolytes (Recruits/Initiates): New members undergoing trials and training, proving loyalty and capability.
  • Allies/Associates: Non-members who align with the organization’s goals and provide resources or expertise.
