History

U.F.A.D. – United Frontier Assistance Division

Motto: “Ad Finem Fronteira” – To The End of The Frontier

Founding & History

The United Frontier Assistance Division was officially chartered in 2682, following the catastrophic first confirmed encounter with the Vanduul on August 9th, 2681. The chaos of that event, and the rising instability across lawless and developing sectors of UEE space, revealed a dire need for an interstellar organization capable of bridging the gap between civilian survival and military defense.

Unlike the Navy, Marines, or Advocacy, U.F.A.D. was not designed as a purely martial entity. Instead, it was created as a multi-functional response force, built to sustain life, stabilize colonies, and extend humanitarian protection to those living far beyond the secure reaches of the UEE Core Worlds.

Their mandate is simple yet profound:
“To Assist, Protect, and Sustain Civilian Life Beyond the Core.”

Manifesto

Today, U.F.A.D. is a trusted presence across the frontier, often the first to arrive in crisis situations and the last to leave.

Reputation & Role in the Verse

U.F.A.D. exists in the delicate space between civilian service and military support. While not a combat-first organization, their defensive operations and proximity to crisis often place them in contested zones where pirates, raiders, or even alien aggressors operate.

To civilians, U.F.A.D. are lifelines the first sign of safety in an emergency.
To governments, they are stabilizers a flexible auxiliary force able to operate where traditional military might be too heavy-handed.
To criminals, slavers, and hostile powers, they are a deterrent a disciplined, well-equipped force capable of defending those who cannot defend themselves.

Where the UEE Navy fights wars, U.F.A.D. ensures civilians survive them.
