Victory through discipline. Loyalty through strength. Welcome to the Crusade.

History

Born out of the chaos of the late 29th century, Task Force Crusader was established in 2892 by a coalition of ex-Navy officers, UEE Marines, and corporate defense strategists following a failed security operation that left a major terraforming colony on Goss II defenseless during a pirate siege.

Disillusioned by bureaucratic red tape and reactive military policies, the founding members envisioned a private, rapid-response security force — one that could act decisively, operate outside political paralysis, and provide elite protection and enforcement capabilities to clients in need. They named it Task Force Crusader — a symbol of relentless protection, tactical precision, and moral clarity in an increasingly lawless ‘verse.

Initially contracted by corporate entities in the Crusader and Pyro systems, the unit gained notoriety for decisive action against Nine Tails operations, and later, their precision strike support during the Covalex Blackout Incident. Their growing reputation made them a preferred choice for deep-space escort missions, asset extractions, and sensitive reconnaissance deployments.

Today, the Task Force operates out of a classified hangar hub in Orison, Crusader, with auxiliary drop zones and mobile command centers established in ArcCorp Area 18, MicroTech New Babbage, and forward recon units stationed along the fringes of Pyro and Nyx. Though a private entity, Task Force Crusader maintains a high level of tactical discipline, inspired by U.S. Naval structure and special operations doctrine.
