In the dark corners of the empire, the Tevarin Ghosts endure. Bound by the memory of Kaleeth and the discipline of Rijora, we move unseen — a brotherhood forged in exile, committed to reclaiming what was taken. Our names are buried. Our purpose is not.
In The Shadows We Thrive.
In the year 2541, the United Planets of Earth (UPE) made first contact with the Tevarin — a proud, martial species on the verge of expanding beyond their home systems. Though technologically behind, the Tevarin possessed a deep cultural cohesion and a disciplined military tradition. Faced with humanity’s wealth and rapidly spreading influence, they launched a bold preemptive assault, aiming to secure the resources they believed necessary for their survival.
Despite their technological disadvantage, the Tevarin proved tactically brilliant and resilient. What the UPE expected to be a short engagement turned into a brutal, four-year conflict that tested both sides. The turning point came during the Battle of Idris IV, where a young UPE officer named Ivar Messer distinguished himself. His actions not only helped secure victory — they marked the beginning of a political rise that would shape human history for centuries.
Following the Tevarin defeat, the UPE took control, terraforming Tevarin systems for human habitation. The remnants of the Tevarin, whether integrated or displaced, sought refuge in the territories of the Banu or Xi’an.
By 2603, the fires of resistance reignited. Corath’Thal, a Tevarin warlord long thought lost to exile, emerged at the helm of a newly rebuilt fleet. His objective was clear: reclaim Elysium IV — known to the Tevarin as Kaleeth, their ancestral homeworld. While a number of human citizens voiced sympathy for the Tevarin cause, the UPE remained firm in its control of the occupied territory.
The conflict that followed lasted seven years, reaching nearly every corner of UPE space. It ended on June 24, 2610 SET, at the Battle of Centauri. There, Corath’Thal’s forces suffered a decisive defeat at the hands of Squadron 42. With his fleet collapsing around him, Corath’Thal made one final move. Gathering the remnants of his loyal pilots, he led a last charge toward Kaleeth.
Despite catastrophic losses — over 70% of their number — they broke through. And in one of the most haunting moments in Tevarin history, they lowered their thermal shields and plunged into the atmosphere. A ritual act of self-immolation. A final return to the soil. Not as conquerors, but as Tevarin.
Centuries later, Lo’dok Kar’toer emerged with a new vision. Raised within the UEE system, he became captivated by the buried legacy of the Tevarin. Through fragmented archives and outlawed writings, he immersed himself in the suppressed history of Kaleeth and the forbidden philosophy of Rijora. His relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to the forgotten story of Warlord Corath’Thal — the leader who dared to reclaim Kaleeth during the Second Tevarin War. Inspired by Corath’Thal’s final act and the unbroken will behind it, Lo’dok developed a quiet, unwavering conviction: the mission was not over.
Over time, he gathered a small circle of exiles, veterans, and cultural loyalists — individuals unwilling to ignore the UEE’s growing pattern of militarized control, forced assimilation, and systemic dominance across every system it touches.
In secret, this group began to train, study, and plan — not for another open war, but for a long campaign of subversion and survival. They became known as the Tevarin Ghosts — an independent cell committed to preserving Tevarin identity, resisting assimilation, and laying the groundwork for eventual liberation.
The Tevarin Ghosts established themselves not through public declarations or territorial claims, but through precision and persistence. Operating from unclaimed stations and forgotten outposts, they strike where UEE presence is weakest — intercepting cargo runs, breaching secure bunkers, and salvaging wreckage from corporate skirmishes. As their ranks expanded, two distinct divisions emerged: Ghost Division, specializing in ground operations and close-quarters tactics; and Nualle Division, a spaceborne wing trained in hit-and-fade strikes, ship interdiction, and escort disruption. Every mission is a test of discipline — guided by the teachings of Rijora and the legacy of Corath’Thal. Their presence is quiet, but deliberate. A blade behind the curtain.
Today, the Tevarin Ghosts remain small but resolute. With a growing foothold in the Pyro system, they have begun working with fringe elements such as the Head Hunters and Freedom Fighters to coordinate resistance efforts across UEE-controlled zones in Stanton. Their mission remains unchanged: preserve what is left, reclaim what was lost, and ensure that Kaleeth is never forgotten.
*In the shadows, they endure.
In the shadows, they plan.
In the shadows, they thrive.*
We are the Tevarin Ghosts — formed from what history tried to erase. We carry forward a legacy buried by war, silence, and forced assimilation. Guided by the principles of Rijora, we stand together to rebuild what was taken — our culture, our pride, and the memory of Kaleeth.
Across forgotten stations and border worlds, where the echoes of Tevarin history still linger, we listen — and respond. To those who feel the pull of something older, something true: you are not alone. We welcome all who reject the lie of assimilation and choose instead to rebuild what was lost. Loyalty is our bond; our mission is shared.
We follow the path laid by Corath’Thal — not as legend, but as precedent. His stand was not the end. It was the beginning of what comes next. His sacrifice at Kaleeth is more than history — it is our directive. We move forward carrying the same resolve: disciplined, focused, and unwilling to forget.
We do not forget our origin. The reclamation of Kaleeth remains our long-term goal — not through conquest, but through strategy, leverage, and persistence. We play the long game. We fight to win — not to be seen.
We pursue more than ground. We pursue knowledge. The lost codices — scattered, hidden, or destroyed — hold the core of what was taken from us. Recovering them is key to understanding who we were, and who we must become again.
“I swear loyalty to the legacy we protect. I will guard the silence of our order, follow the path of Rijora, and serve the long mission: to restore what was lost and return honor to the Tevarin name.
In shadows, we thrive. In unity, we endure.”
We are not a relic. We are a force — active, deliberate, and growing. Every mission, every alliance, every operation is a step forward. The Tevarin Ghosts are not history repeating. We are the correction to history’s lie.
*For Kaleeth. For Rijora. For the Future.
In Shadows We Thrive,
The Tevarin Ghosts*
In recognition of our shared history, cultural identity, and the enduring teachings of Rijora, we, the Tevarin Ghosts, establish this charter to define our purpose, structure, and code. Through unity, discipline, and discretion, we pledge to preserve what remains of Tevarin heritage and restore what was taken. Our mission begins not with flags, but with action — and it does not end until Kaleeth is free.
Enacted under the guidance of Rijora, this charter affirms our commitment to the survival of Tevarin identity and the continued resistance to imperial dominance.
