Manifesto
At Tahoma, we believe the stars are more than destinations; they are opportunities. Our organization thrives at the crossroads of security, trading, and exploration, bringing together pilots, traders, and adventurers who seek both purpose and profit. We stand as guardians of safe passage, ensuring that commerce flows and discovery continues without fear. While our ships may carry weapons, our true mission is to carry the promise of prosperity and adventure to every corner of the verse.
We are a casual but dedicated community where every member’s journey matters, whether you fly solo or with a wing. Flexibility is our strength, with some finding their calling in defense, others in commerce, and others still in charting the unknown. Immersion and teamwork guide us, but above all, respect and camaraderie unite us.
Tahoma is open to all pilots, regardless of skill or background, and we are proud to be an LGBTQ+ friendly space where diversity makes us stronger. The verse is vast, and no one should face it alone. Join us, and together we will secure, trade, and explore the frontier of tomorrow.
Charter
Preamble
In the vast expanse of the verse, opportunity and danger travel side by side. Tahoma was founded to bring together pilots, traders, and explorers who believe in building something greater than themselves. We are bound by a shared vision: to safeguard the freedom of travel, to trade with honor, and to push into the frontiers where others hesitate to go.
Article I: Purpose
Tahoma exists to foster a community of pilots who value security, commerce, and discovery. We protect the lanes of travel, connect markets across the stars, and venture into the unknown in search of knowledge and prosperity. Though these three pillars guide us, we remain flexible, allowing our members to shape their own path while contributing to the greater whole.
Article II: Membership
Membership in Tahoma is open to all who share our values. We welcome new recruits and seasoned veterans alike, and we proudly maintain an environment that is respectful, diverse, and LGBTQ+ friendly. Every member’s voice matters. While leadership may guide, decisions are made with the community in mind. Commitment is open ended. We respect that real lives come first, and no member shall be judged for their availability.
Article III: Conduct
All members of Tahoma are expected to uphold a culture of respect and camaraderie. Our code of conduct can be summarized simply: do not be an ass. Treat others as you wish to be treated. In both victory and defeat, act with integrity. While we fly armed and ready, we do not exist to grief or exploit, but to build trust and reputation in the verse.
Article IV: Structure
Tahoma operates with flexibility. Members are encouraged to pursue roles in security, trading, exploration, or other opportunities that arise. No rigid divisions bind us, for adaptability is our strength. Leadership serves the community, ensuring fairness, stability, and opportunity, rather than dictating rigid orders.
Article V: Unity
The verse is vast and often unforgiving, but no pilot should face it alone. Together we are stronger. Together we secure, trade, and explore. Together we are Tahoma.
Tahoma Oath of Honor
“I pledge to fly with honor, respect my fellow pilots, and uphold the spirit of Tahoma. Together we secure, trade, and explore the stars.”
