History

In the vast, lawless void of the Stanton system, where corporate greed clashed with pirate ambition, four outcasts forged their own path into legend. Their names: Ben, Nick, Gobig and Thomas. Together, they would become the founders of the most infamous outlaw crew in the history of Star Citizen—the Space Bandits.

The story began in Grim Hex, the shadowy underbelly of the Crusader-controlled world of Yela. Nick, a rogue trader with a penchant for smuggling, found himself backed into a corner after a botched deal with a Hurston Dynamics enforcer. Desperate, he turned to the underground networks and crossed paths with Ben and Gobig, former UEE Navy pilots turned mercenary, and Thomas, a master hacker with a knack for infiltrating even the most secure systems.

Fate threw them together when a bounty hunter mistakenly linked their crimes, forcing them to flee into the asteroid belts of Stanton. With nowhere else to go, the trio made a pact—if the universe wanted to brand them criminals, they would embrace it. But they wouldn’t be mindless pirates. No, the Space Bandits would be something more: a crew with honor, striking only against the corrupt megacorps and the greedy elite who hoarded the system’s riches.

Manifesto

I. Who We Are
We are the Space Bandits, outlaws of the void, rebels of the stars. We do not bow to the corrupt megacorporations, the oppressive UEE, or the self-righteous bounty hunters who seek to chain the free. We are not common thieves or mindless raiders—we are something greater: a force for those the system has cast aside.

II. Our Code
We do not steal from the weak. We do not prey upon the innocent. Our targets are the greedy, the powerful, the ones who hoard wealth while others struggle to survive. The megacorps, the corrupt officials, the war profiteers—these are the marks of the Space Bandits.

III. Our Mission
We fight for those with no voice. We strike against those who exploit others. We take from the oppressors and give to those who dare to dream of freedom. We carve out our own path in the black, beyond the reach of UEE law and corporate rule.

Honor Among Bandits – We do not betray our own. Brotherhood and trust are our foundation.

The Space Bandits exist as a coalition of free-spirited outlaws, rebels, and exiles who refuse to be bound by corporate greed, government oppression, or the laws of the corrupt elite. We operate in the shadows, striking against tyranny and injustice while upholding our own code of honor.

Article II: Membership & Ranks

Founder’s Circle – The original architects of the Space Bandits: Ben, Nick, and Thomas. Their word is final in matters of war, alliances, and expansion.

Captains – Trusted veterans who command crews, organize raids, and uphold the Bandit Code.

Raiders – Core members of the crew, responsible for executing missions, securing loot, and defending our name.

Initiates – New recruits earning their place. Loyalty and skill will determine their rise.

Article III: The Bandit Code

Loyalty Above All – Betrayal of a fellow Bandit is punishable by exile… or worse.

No Preying on the Helpless – We are outlaws, not butchers. Our targets are the corrupt, the wealthy, and the powerful.

Take Only What You Can Carry – Greed leads to ruin. We strike hard, take what’s needed, and disappear.

No Kings, No Masters – No empire shall rule us. No government shall own us. We live and die by our own code.

Death Before Capture – A Bandit does not rot in a UEE cell. We fight until the end, or we take the void on our own terms.

Article IV: Operations & Strategy

Raids & Heists – High-value targets, megacorp convoys, and black-market operations are our primary source of wealth and power.

Alliances & Rivalries – We choose our allies carefully and our enemies even more so. Those who stand against us will fall.

Safe Havens – Locations such as Grim Hex, Pyro, and the uncharted reaches of the galaxy serve as our sanctuaries.

Silence & Shadows – We strike with precision, leaving no trace. Our names are legends, not signatures.

Article V: Legacy & Future
The Space Bandits are more than a crew—they are a movement. We exist to challenge the status quo, to carve our own fate from the void. As long as the stars burn, there will be those who refuse to kneel. And as long as there is a frontier, there will be Space Bandits.
