History

Formed in 2764 response to rampant looting and anarchy in the wake of the brutal Van’duul attacks, REMORA KINETIC SECURITY CONCERN was a loose coalition of contractors seeking to make a living by doing their part to uphold the law. However, as Van’duul raiding continued, REMORA operatives more and more often found themselves in the path of both opportunistic pirates and increasingly bold attacks by the alien raiders. Thus, they formally joined forces and founded the CONCERN as we know it today at the Battle of Vega II. Despite taking nearly catastrophic losses, REMORA made a name for themselves battling for their lives and the lives of every civilian on Vega II. As Van’duul landing ships descended into the atmosphere to assault the planet, they were beset upon by REMORA contractors. As the vile aliens butchered their way through city streets, REMORA soldiers held the line with unmatched valor. The fighting spirit displayed on that infamous day is our identity, what makes REMORA who we are, and that light SHALL NOT fade.

Manifesto

The powerful arm of the UEE reaches far and wide. But, regrettably, there are areas where even the eye of the Imperator does not see. Citizens in those far reaches of the galaxy must fend for themselves… but not always. Where the light of civilization flickers, and ordinary individuals fear for their lives, REMORA KINETIC SECURITY CONCERN is there to be their aegis, their helping hand, their guiding light. Charter

1. When possible, adhere to UEE law.

2. Engage in negotiations before combat if possible. When engaged in combat, show no mercy.

3. Assist others wherever possible. Accept payment if offered, but do not demand it if none is proffered.

4. An attack on one member is an attack on all members, and will be responded to as such.
4a. If a member has breached regulation or UEE law and is being attacked for such reasons, they forfeit all organizational protections.

5. We do not work with criminals or terrorists. We do not negotiate with criminals or terrorists. Any member found guilty of doing so unwarranted will be subject to expulsion.
