History Manifesto Charter

History

The Riot Formation was formed in EVE Online in 2011 and still maintains an active presence in the game. Its
founder has a long history going back to the early days of 2004, and the guild that eventually came from that now
has a well respected name and a loyal membership.

RIOT then expanded into the resurrected world of Star Wars Galaxies where the wider RIOT Gaming was formed and offers rioters the chance to step back into the nostalgic and cult MMO classic world of SWG. Restoration uses the Combat Upgrade system, in our opinion the best period of SWG’s history. RIOT have been there for three years and for most of that period have been the biggest active guild around, maintaining up to 90% of our 120 members over 230 characters active. We also have a number of “server firsts” to our name and have a far reaching reputation for fair play and solid community values.

Charter

General
  • We are a no-drama guild.
  • We are all in or not in. We don’t allow alts in other guilds unless a leader ok’s it.
  • Nobody is bigger than RIOT. Its name and reputation are paramount, there is a zero
    tolerance to anyone who attempts to tarnish that.
  • We don’t grief, flame, abuse or make dicks of ourselves in public chats. We expect
    friendly and polite interaction with others in the game worlds and discord.
  • Stick to the games rules. We support the dev teams and their enforcement of the
    terms of service of all games we are involved with.
  • The playing and promoting of any music by ABBA is prohibited.
  • Each game we are established in has specific rules relating to that game. Please
    familiarise yourself with the relevant charter, speak to a pitboss if you have any
    questions.
  • It should go without saying, but we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. If
    someone treats you like a dick, call them a dick. If in your opinion their life choices
    makes them a dick, keep it to yourself, its probably you being a dick.
  • All members are expected to maintain discord membership, this is our primary social
    and communication tool.
