History
Project Reality is a combined arms tactical first-person shooter video game modification for Battlefield 2 which aim to create a realistic combat environment where the core gameplay encourages teamwork and coordination.
The Mod developers’ aims are to rework the original games engine within legal and feasible constraints to create a realistic combat environment for gamers. This includes adjusting the games various elements including physics, visual effects and game play.
It features 100 player servers with 8 man squads that can communicate over 3D local VOIP as well as separate squad and command voice channels. Currently there are 24 fully developed factions which are available on over 60 maps. This includes both real and fictional modern conflicts as well as historical ones such as the Falklands War, the Vietnam War and World War 2. Online and offline play against AI is also available. We continue to support this mod with regular updates.
