THE BEGINNING

DECEMBER 2950:
Former members of the United Empire of Earth (UEE) 23rd Marine Expeditionary Force leave service and join REDACTED, a private military company (PMC), in the Stanton system.
JANURARY 2951:
During service within REDACTED an elite ground force, designation Taskforce Ranger, was formed and began operation across the Stanton system as a rapid reconnaissance and combat response team comprising of ten former members of the 23rd Marine Expeditionary Force.
THE PRODITONE INCIDENT

FEBURARY 2952:
On microTech’s moon, Ito, Taskforce Ranger was ambushed by REDACTED corporation after operations intelligence was leaked for united earth credits. The taskforce withdraws after a mechanized assault on their bunker with heavy casualties.
MARCH 2952:
The ambush weighs heavy on the taskforce, and they reconsider the risks of high-profile PMC work. The ranger team leaves REDACTED to become freelancers.
AUGUST 2952:
The taskforce contacts a group of individuals, referred to as Vaughn, because they face financial bankruptcy. Operations are limited to non-sanctioned personal contracts and industrial raids. While they enjoy lucrative profits their activities draw the attention of the Stanton bounty hunter’s guild.
NOVEMBER 2952:
Members of Taskforce Ranger experience numerous setbacks related to bounty hunter and advocacy interference in their illegal operations.
PRESENT DAY

DECEMBER 2952 ONWARD:
The former commander of Taskforce Ranger, REDACTED, declares the formation of the Psittacine Privateers after a series of back room deals with the corporations of Stanton to secure funding for equipment and contracts. REDACTED hopes to limit confrontations with the bounty hunter guilds of Stanton until they regain strength. Walking the line between Privateering and Piracy begins.

To maintain a highly skilled small core group of players to sustain a militia, extort, seize and sell assets, and expand into the mining, salvage, and smuggling industries.
FOCUS AREAS

RAIDS consisting of tracking down industry players to seize their assets and sell the plunder to fund our members.
LOGISTICS gameplay focusing on mining and salvage to develop funds for the membership, training, and events.
MILITIA TRAINING to cross improve members’ ability in space and ground combat to maintain an effective raiding and security force.

The code is law among members and must be followed to the letter.
GENERAL CODE

• Treat your fellow members with equality and set an example to those junior to you.
• Ask for help if required and help your fellow Privateers.
• Remember to have fun but take organisation play seriously when required.
• Turn up to organised play sessions that you can make – it’s an organisation for a reason.
• Do not combat log to avoid an unfavourable situation.
• We are Privateers and Pirates. We do not aim to kill; we aim to plunder. Do not cross the line between being a pirate and griefing for the fun of it.
• We have a structure, and organisation vision, for a reason. Please listen to the leadership team when required.
RECRUITMENT

• Recruitment will be done via the RSI Website and Discord. In game recruitment may occur if the situation is right.
• Once an application is lodged the prospective privateer should join the discord and introduce themselves to the crew. You must play and participate to be considered active and move through the ranks.
REPRESENTING THE PRIVATEERS

• Due to the nature of our work, you are required to be redacted on the RSI website.
DISCIPLINARY ACTION

• If a member is found to combat log, grief or be disruptive and antisocial towards other members the officer council will discuss the case. A warning will be issued as needed. If the warning is not heeded, depending on the severity of the behaviour, the officer council will contact the individual and discuss the case. Consequences may include swabbing the deck, demotion, or eviction from the organisation at the discretion of the officer council.
