History
NOVA Protocol’s history doesn’t begin on a battlefield—it begins in a boardroom. Officially founded in 2921, the organization’s public-facing records list it as a private tactical consultancy formed by former UEE Navy and Advocacy officers. But whispers in military and corporate circles trace its origins further back—to a now-decommissioned black project known only as Directive NOVA, rumored to have been a contingency program during the Messer era for enforcing martial law in unstable sectors.
When the program was shelved post-Messer reforms, its assets—personnel, ships, data—didn’t disappear. They were privatized.
Early Operations (2921–2935):
NOVA Protocol emerged as a “clean” PMC in a dirty galaxy, offering high-tier private security for corporate convoys, VIP extractions, and high-risk escort missions through uncharted systems. Operating just outside the edge of UEE red tape, they quickly built a reputation for unmatched precision, discretion, and results.
Their involvement in the Kellog Trade Route Purge (2924)—a quiet but deadly series of strikes against pirate syndicates disrupting mineral exports—earned them covert support from multiple UEE senators and corporate stakeholders.

As piracy and Vanduul incursions escalated, NOVA Protocol expanded into more aggressive roles: deniable operations, blacksite reclamations, and deep-space interdictions. Rumors suggest they were involved in covert testing of early quantum suppression tech years before it was publicly deployed by the Navy.
During this era, internal reorganization led to the creation of their now-feared Spectre Units—ultra-elite teams specializing in infiltration, sabotage, and cyberwarfare.
Corporate Entanglements (2946–2949):
With the rise of mega-corporations and political unrest post-Messer, NOVA Protocol found themselves walking the razor’s edge between legitimate security work and morally grey enforcement. Leaked footage in 2947 appeared to show NOVA operatives neutralizing protesters on behalf of a Stanton-based weapons conglomerate, sparking controversy. The UEE refused to comment. The company denied involvement. No operatives were ever identified.
Present Day (2950–):
Today, NOVA Protocol operates under the radar but in plain sight—discreetly contracted by the powerful, quietly feared by the rest. Their fleet has grown, their tactics more refined. From Stanton to Pyro, Nyx to Vega, the message is clear: if NOVA shows up, someone paid enough to make the problem disappear completely.

Charter
ARTICLE I — PURPOSE
NOVA Protocol exists to fulfill mission-critical operations in environments where conventional military, security, or governmental forces are ineffective, compromised, or politically constrained.
Our purpose is to provide precision warfare, strategic security, and tactical enforcement capabilities to authorized entities across all lawful and deniable engagement zones.
ARTICLE II — MANDATE
NOVA Protocol shall operate under the following core directives:
Preserve Operational Integrity — All engagements must maintain tactical superiority, data security, and complete mission discretion.
Serve the Contract, Not the Cause — Our loyalty is transactional, governed by clearly defined contracts and bound by the Protocol Doctrine.

ARTICLE III — STRUCTURE
NOVA Protocol is comprised of the following command and unit tiers:

ARTICLE VI — TERMINATION CLAUSE
NOVA Protocol reserves the right to dissolve or retract any engagement or personnel deemed compromised, rogue, or unfit to represent the organization. Termination is final. No appeals. No survivors.
