Jackals Creed

TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY! YOUR LIFE IS AT RISK IF YOU DON'T!

• A Jackal shall not kill another Jackal without reasonable cause. Even with reasonable cause you will still be subject to trial.
• No Jackal shall reveal the location of any den.
• No Jackal will suffer dishonorable defeat. (You are expected to end your own life before surrendering.)
• Once a member of the pack, you are bound forever. If you wish to leave, the only way out is public execution.
• Selling smuggled cargo to ANY other pirate group is strictly forbidden. Unless otherwise stated by an Alpha.

• All loyalties must lie with the pack.
• The council will be made up of Alphas and Betas. * Kings will be named Alphas, Captains will be named Betas.
• Any decisions regarding the pack will be made by the council.
• If a Jackal is accused of any crime against the pack (such as failure to follow the creed) investigation and punishment will be carried out by Betas. * If necessary, Alpha’s will take jurisdiction and make judgments personally. ex: Crimes committed by Betas, acts of treason, murder or attempted murder of an Alpha or Beta will all call for Alpha involvement. * If Betas cannot come to a conclusion this will also call for Alpha involvement.
• Political issues, declarations of war, territorial disputes, etc. will be handled by Alphas and Alphas only. # 1 Amendment: Alphas AND Betas will be involved in the decision to enact a declaration of war in order to avoid dispute among the council. # 2 Amendment: If there is dispute among the council, Omegas will be given the authority to make a decision ONLY if it is determined that the dispute has gone on for a reasonable amount of time and must be forcefully ended.
• Punishments for crimes committed will vary depending on the crime. * Premeditated murder of a pack member without reasonable cause: Public execution * Manslaughter of a pack member: Public execution * Infiltration/espionage: Public execution * Theft of Pack property or credits: Public execution * Treason: Public execution * Mutiny: Public execution * Non-Hostile interactions with the UEE: Public execution * Disobeying a superior: Public execution
• Captains have free reign aboard their vessels. Officers and other crew members are hand selected by each captain.
• While on any venture directly associated with the pack, Captains are free to run their operations as they please as long as their actions do not interfere with the creed.
• Any captured vessels will become property of the Captain of the crew who took it.
• Vessel repairs will not be covered by the pack. Any enhancements or repairs must be purchased personally by Captains.
• Any prisoners will be sold in to slavery (or held for ransom in special situations.)

• There will be no relations with the UEE. Besides hostile actions.
• Any captured bounty hunters will bring great reward to the capture.
• Any members of the UEE that are captured by pack members must be brought before the council for interrogation upon capture.
