Founded in 2955, the Interstellar People’s Navy began as a small circle of pilots who wanted something rare in the ’verse: a crew that valued people over clout and teamwork over ego. The name was a banner and a promise. We would stand with those who felt sidelined by elitism, turn strangers into comrades, and prove that solidarity could turn modest ships into a fleet with purpose.
From the first supply run to the first rescue beacon, our focus was practical and human. We shared fittings, split fuel costs and taught each other the routes that paid. When a new player needed gear, someone stepped up. When a convoy needed cover, someone brought a gunship. These small acts of mutual aid shaped our culture more than any speech could.
As the fleet grew, we needed a way to stay organized without losing our spirit. The Supreme People’s Assembly was formed as an open forum where plans are laid out and priorities are discussed. Its purpose is simple: clarity, so that every member knows where we are going and how to help.
Around the Assembly, our structure took form. Ranks such as Admiral, Captain, Lieutenant, Petty Officer and Crewman defined responsibilities in space, while the Supreme Commander coordinated the fleet at large. Alongside the military chain, roles such as General Secretary, Commissar, Enlistment Officer and Propaganda Officer emerged to guide our politics, cohesion, recruitment and communication.
Nyx became our main rally point, a home in the dark where our ships could regroup and resupply. Yet our purpose has always been interstellar. The Interstellar People’s Navy was never meant to stay in one system. We travel the ’verse to find work, opportunity and stories wherever they appear.
Over time the stories piled up: a stranded miner brought home by a last minute rescue, a convoy saved by an extra escort, a training night where new pilots ended up leading the formation. None of these moments were grand on their own. Together they became our tradition.
Today the IPN is louder on comms and fuller in the hangar, still true to its founding idea: people first, teamwork over ego and shared progress through cooperation. We protect our own, welcome newcomers and keep writing the small stories that add up.
We are the Interstellar People’s Navy, a cooperative, player run communist organization built on equality, solidarity and shared progress. We stand against elitism in the ’verse and fly, build and grow as a crew. Everyone has a voice here, and no one flies alone.
Our fleet gathers around Nyx as a rally point, but our work is interstellar. We travel from system to system to seek opportunity, protect our comrades and take part in as much of Star Citizen’s universe as we can reach.
We run operations that reward teamwork and good vibes. Industry sits at the heart of what we do, supported by escorts and defense when needed. We share routes and fittings, help each other gear up and turn small wins into big stories.
Our strength is collective. Real life comes first. We avoid grind quotas and hard mandatory schedules. Clear comms, mutual aid and camaraderie matter more than numbers. Membership is 18 and over. Alts and other orgs are welcome when they do not undermine our operations or diplomacy. If something might cause a conflict, talk to us and we will look for a fair solution.
We keep things respectful and welcoming. We do not accept harassment, exploitation of members, deliberate sowing of division or the leaking of sensitive plans during active operations. When problems arise, we aim to handle them with transparency and a genuine effort to be fair to everyone involved.
If you value people over clout, teamwork over ego and progress over grind, join the Navy and add your voice to the Supreme People’s Assembly. Let us build something worth defending, together.
(Ratified by the Supreme People’s Assembly, 2955)
Article 1. The Interstellar People’s Navy is a cooperative, player run communist organization built on equality, solidarity and shared progress. We recognize no authority higher than the collective will of our members and a shared vision of a fair galaxy. The Navy acts with autonomy and sustains itself through the strengths, talents and goodwill of its comrades.
Article 2. The IPN welcomes all who feel sidelined by elitism, whether in the lore of the ’verse or in everyday play. Our purpose is to bring players together in a supportive movement where everyone has a voice and a place. We reject hollow hierarchies of wealth and clout and commit to lifting each other up through team play, mutual aid and fun first cooperation.
Article 3. Our strength is collective. We succeed through trust, teamwork and camaraderie, not ego. The Navy is a friendly crew bound by purpose. Our discipline helps us coordinate, protect each other and create memorable stories together.
Article 4. The Navy is interstellar in scope but anchored by a shared home. The Nyx system serves as our primary rally point for regroups, planning and resupply. From there, the fleet may travel to any system in search of opportunity, work and adventure.
Article 5. The Supreme People’s Assembly is the highest forum of discussion and coordination. It is open to all members in good standing, each with an equal voice. The Assembly reviews plans, sets priorities and upholds transparency in how the Navy acts. Its guidance shapes both political direction and fleet operations.
Article 6. The Supreme Commander is the highest military authority within the Navy. The Supreme Commander oversees fleet strategy, major operations and the coordination of Admirals and Captains. This authority is exercised in accordance with the principles of the Charter and the guidance of the Supreme People’s Assembly.
Article 7. The General Secretary leads the political and organizational stewardship of the IPN. The General Secretary safeguards the values of the Navy, supports internal cohesion and works with the Supreme Commander and the Supreme People’s Assembly to align long term goals, diplomacy and internal policy.
Article 8. Commissars, Enlistment Officers and Propaganda Officers support the day to day life of the Navy. Commissars help maintain unity, morale and discipline, and assist in resolving internal issues. Enlistment Officers handle applications, welcome new members and guide them into the life of the fleet. Propaganda Officers manage public information, announcements and the presentation of the Navy to the wider community.
Article 9. The Navy maintains a clear military rank structure for operations. Ranks include Supreme Commander, Admiral, Captain, Lieutenant, Petty Officer and Crewman. These ranks reflect responsibility and experience in fleet actions, from strategic command to line operations. Promotion within the ranks is based on merit, activity and trust.
Article 10. Every member is important, whatever their rank or role. Regardless of seniority, all members share equal dignity, the right to be heard and the opportunity to contribute. Different playstyles are respected, and learning from one another is encouraged.
Article 11. All members may share ideas, feedback and concerns. Constructive discussion strengthens the collective. Respectful disagreement is welcome. Harassment, bigotry and targeted hostility are not tolerated.
Article 12. Commitment to the Navy’s activities is valued, but real life comes first. Members are encouraged to take part when they can and at a pace that suits them. Alternate characters and membership in other organizations are acceptable when they do not create conflicts of interest during operations or diplomacy. Members are expected to be transparent about potential conflicts so that a fair solution can be found.
Article 13. The highest honor is to contribute to the life of the Navy and to lift others up. We also believe in healthy balance. There are no grind quotas and no mandatory time sinks. Members are encouraged to show up, have fun and help their crew shine, while preserving their own well being.
Article 14. We aim for a positive and cooperative culture. Behavior that consistently undermines teamwork, such as harassment, exploitation of members or deliberate sowing of division, has no place here. Guidance and coaching come first, and clear boundaries follow when needed.
Article 15. Protecting our members and shared assets is everyone’s responsibility. Serious breaches of trust, including leaking sensitive plans during active operations, stealing communal assets or engaging in targeted harassment, will be reviewed by an impartial panel convened for the case. Sanctions may range from a warning to removal, decided transparently and fairly, with the member given a chance to be heard.
