History

Intersol Corporation is a private military and logistics contractor operating across the UEE and beyond. From elite bounty hunting to high-risk cargo runs, and commercial mining/salvaging to medical operations, Intersol brings military-grade discipline, tactical precision, and corporate reliability to the lawless frontiers of the ‘verse.

Founding (Early 29th Century)
Intersol Corporation was founded in 2817 on Terra as a small independent logistics firm, originally focused on intersystem cargo hauling. Its founders—former UEE Navy logistics officers—saw an opportunity to apply their military expertise to the private sector, offering disciplined, reliable freight and support services where civilian shippers often fell short.

Expansion into Security & Bounty Hunting
As trade routes grew more dangerous in the late 28th and early 29th centuries, Intersol gradually shifted beyond simple hauling. By 2845, the company had developed its own Private Military Contracting (PMC) division, providing convoy escorts and limited enforcement services. With rising crime rates in fringe systems, Intersol became a trusted partner for corporations and local governments alike, particularly in bounty hunting operations against pirates and smugglers.

Diversification of Operations
By the mid-29th century, Intersol had expanded far beyond freight. To strengthen its versatility and ensure independence from volatile supply chains, the corporation invested heavily in:

  • Mining and Refining: Supplying its fleets with raw and processed materials.
  • Salvaging: Recovering derelicts and battlefield wrecks for resale or re-use.
  • Rescue and Recovery: Adding dedicated search-and-rescue units to support both clients and their own personnel.

This diversification allowed Intersol to market itself as a “full-spectrum logistics and security provider.

Reputation and Role in the Modern Era
Today, Intersol Corporation is regarded as a mid-tier but rapidly growing competitor among PMC-logistics hybrids. While it lacks the sheer scale of corporate giants like Shubin Interstellar or Crusader Industries, Intersol has carved out a strong reputation in border systems and lawless sectors, where adaptability matters more than bureaucracy.

Known for its “Sol Standard” reliability creed, Intersol balances professionalism with ruthlessness: delivering shipments, contracts, or targets with military precision. Its ships, painted in muted grays and marked with a simple three-star emblem, are a common sight along unstable trade lanes.
