“Legacy walks in silence.”

More than an org—a House. Our members are part of a legacy built on action, not acclaim. We move with purpose, serve by contract and deliver swiftly with discretion.

History

Founded in 2912 during the early corporate carve-up of the Stanton system, House Shadow began as a loose alliance of ex-military contractors, information brokers and unaffiliated pilots. As megacorps like Hurston Dynamics and ArcCorp tightened their grip, a market emerged for independent operatives who could act where corporate interests couldn’t—or wouldn’t.

Over time, the group formalized under a singular banner: House Shadow. The name was chosen not for nobility, but for continuity—echoing the stability and discretion of the old noble Earth houses. Early contracts included data extractions on MicroTech, clandestine courier runs in Lorville and quiet asset removals in the orbit of Crusader.

Today, House Shadow operates across the UEE and fringe systems alike, offering a range of freelance services from reconnaissance, asset recovery, escort and targeted intervention to hauling and transport.

Manifesto

We believe in a society where all may flourish—where purpose, freedom, and legacy are possible for those who seek it. The chaos of unchecked power, lawless violence, and disruptive greed undermines that possibility. House Shadow exists to counterbalance such threats.

Some hold the illusion that order comes from control.
We understand the truth: order is protected through discretion.

We do not seek rule.
We do not seek acclaim.
We exist to keep the system whole—through action, not announcement.

To that end, we take contracts that serve one of three aims:

Preserve the flow – Support stability where it benefits the greater structure.

Uplift the capable – Work with those who aim to build, not destroy.

Quiet the threat – Remove what festers before it infects.

Whether escorting dignitaries, recovering stolen data, intercepting chaos agents, or safeguarding commerce lanes—we act without spectacle.

Loyalty is earned, not bought.

Discretion above recognition.

No unnecessary blood. No reckless war.

We complete the contract, or we do not take it.

If our name is known, we have failed.

Charter

I. Conduct & Representation

Respect your fellow operatives.
Internal conflict weakens us. Personal disputes are to be handled privately or mediated through a higher-ranked member.

Professionalism is key.
Whether dealing with allies, clients, or adversaries, your conduct reflects on the House. Maintain calm, act with purpose, and never escalate without cause.

II. Contract Ethics

Do not take jobs that compromise the House.
Contracts targeting allies, destabilizing critical regions, or violating the House’s neutral standing are forbidden unless authorized by Command.

Collateral damage must be minimized.
We are not terrorists. Civilian deaths, property destruction, or unprovoked aggression are grounds for expulsion.
