History of GRIS: Galactic Resource Industries of Stanton
Genesis Amid the Ashes of Vega (2945)
In 2945, the Vanduul’s brutal attack on Vega II shook the UEE, exposing its weaknesses. From this chaos arose Galactic Resource Industries of Stanton—GRIS, a coalition of miners, traders, pilots, and explorers united to harness the ‘Verse’s riches and build a community of opportunity. Named for its Stanton roots, GRIS symbolized mastering resources in a complex galaxy. Its creed, Ab Aeterno Stamus Ex Cunabulis In Infinitum Oritur Unus Pro Omnibus, Omnes Pro Uno (“From the eternal, we stand. From the cradle, we rise to infinity. One for all, all for one”), defined its inclusive spirit.
Led by Elara Voss, a former UEE Navy officer disillusioned by Vega’s failures, GRIS took root in Stanton, blending mining, hauling, salvaging, and exploration. Welcoming miners, mercenaries, and gamers from beyond Star Citizen, GRIS became a home for all.
Leaders Forged in Hardship (2946–2948)
From Sol’s slums, William T. Moonraker emerged with battered dreams, joining the UEE Navy to master combat, tactics, and dogfighting. Rising to Colonel, he led a five-man strike force before joining GRIS in 2946, drawn to its resource-driven mission.
From Terra’s shipyards, Cassian Quim rose, a mechanic’s son skilled in logistics and navigation. Enlisting in the UEE Navy, he excelled in fleet coordination, meeting Moonraker in Stanton. Disillusioned post-Vega, Quim joined GRIS in 2946, his strategic mind shaping its operations.
That year, GRIS expanded to Pyro, establishing Aeterna Hold on Pyro IV, a hub for mining, salvaging, and refining, leveraging Stanton’s industrial expertise to forge order from chaos.
The Pyro Accord and Rising Stars (2948–2950)
In 2948, the Pyro Accord saw GRIS defend Aeterna Hold against the Ashen Veil syndicate. Moonraker’s tactics and Quim’s Banu alliances and logistics secured victory, cementing GRIS’s reputation for justice. Its motto, Iustitia Veritas Communitas (Justice, Truth, Community), was born.
On April 9, 2950, William T. Moonraker and Captain Quim rose to lead GRIS. Moonraker’s bold vision drove expansion, while Quim’s logistical genius ensured efficiency, transforming GRIS into a resource powerhouse.
Expansion and Resilience (2950–2953)
Under Moonraker and Quim, GRIS thrived in mining, hauling, and salvaging, extending to Nyx. Its jack-of-all-trades ethos empowered members to guard trade routes or host eSports during the Foundation Festival. Nonexclusive, GRIS welcomed gamers from other communities.
In 2951, GRIS salvaged the Stellar Aegis, a mobile carrier from Hades, becoming its flagship. Launched during Alien Week with Xi’an and Banu exchanges, it reinforced GRIS’s Stanton trade networks.
A Legacy in 2955
Today, led by Moonraker and Quim, GRIS shines. Aeterna Hold bustles with mining and trade, while the Stellar Aegis guards the frontier. Rooted in Stanton, GRIS excels in resources, offering roles for all—miners in Pyro, salvagers in Nyx, or gamers uniting across worlds.

We are Galactic Resource Industries of Stanton—GRIS, born in 2945’s chaos after Vega’s fall, shaped by Elara Voss, and led by William T. Moonraker and Captain Cassian Quim. Rooted in Stanton, we master the ‘Verse’s riches—mining Quantanium in Pyro, hauling wealth through Nyx, salvaging Hades’ relics, and refining prosperity for all.
Our creed, Ab Aeterno Stamus Ex Cunabulis In Infinitum Oritur Unus Pro Omnibus, Omnes Pro Uno (“From the eternal, we stand. From the cradle, we rise to infinity. One for all, all for one”), unites us. Every citizen—miner, trader, pilot, or gamer—finds purpose in our inclusive community.
We are resourceful, turning chaos into opportunity, as shown by Aeterna Hold’s stand in the 2948 Pyro Accord. We are collaborative, blending Moonraker’s tactics and Quim’s logistics to defeat the Ashen Veil. We are strategic, tackling Alpha 4.1’s challenges with the Moonraker Report for profitability.
