While others chase fame or fortune, the Greyguards pursue results. We are the silent professionals of the verse — the ones you call when your problem can’t go public, and your credits can’t afford failure.

History

They say justice wears white and crime wears black — but in the Verse, the truth bleeds grey.

The Greyguards were born in that grey.

Founded by Kael Virex, a former operative of the ASD, the syndicate emerged from the cracks between law and chaos. Virex once served as one of the UEE’s most effective covert agents — trained for infiltration, reconnaissance, and silent elimination. He carried out missions the public would never hear about, all in the name of order. But after witnessing corruption eat through the Advocacy from the inside out, Virex walked away.

They branded him a traitor. He called it survival.

Now, Virex commands the Greyguards — a tight-knit criminal syndicate operating under the radar across Stanton, Pyro, and Nyx. What started as a handful of ex-military ghosts and disavowed mercs has grown into a ruthless, disciplined network specializing in contract killings, corporate sabotage, and high-risk extractions.

Unlike most crime outfits, the Greyguards don’t thrive on chaos — they engineer it. Every hit, every theft, every disappearance serves a purpose. Their operations are surgical, their presence unseen, their loyalty to the highest bidder — or to Virex himself.

Rumor has it the Greyguards keep a strict internal code: “We guard the grey— the space between survival and damnation.” To outsiders, they’re just assassins. To insiders, they’re the future of organized power — untethered by law, unburdened by conscience.

Where the Advocacy fails, the Greyguards succeed.
Where law ends, their rule begins.
They are the ghosts of Stanton.

Manifesto

Our Creed

The Verse is not black and white — it’s shades of grey.
Where governments falter, corporations corrupt, and syndicates rot from greed, we endure.
We are the Greyguards — the unseen hand, the hired precision, the blade that never misses.

Our Purpose

We are not rebels. We are not soldiers. We are professionals.
Every hit, every infiltration, every contract is executed with intent, not impulse.
Our purpose is control through chaos — to bring balance where others bring bluster.

We do what others can’t.
We do what others won’t.
And we do it better.

Our Structure

Led by Kael Virex, ex-Associated Science and Development operative turned strategist, the Greyguards operate as a disciplined network of specialists — assassins, saboteurs, and tacticians bound by skill, not loyalty to creed or nation.

Orders flow downward, respect flows upward.
You earn your place through performance, not politics.

Our Offer

To clients: discretion, precision, and results.
To members: purpose, profit, and power.
To enemies: silence.

Our Code

No witnesses. No loose ends.

The contract comes first — emotion is a liability.

Loyalty is earned, not demanded.

We guard the grey — the space between survival and damnation.

Our Mark

Where the UEE can’t reach and crime has no conscience, the Greyguards remain — unseen, undefeated, unbound.

We are not the light.
We are not the dark.
We are the Greyguards.

Charter

The Greyguards Charter

“In shadows, we find purpose. In purpose, we find power.”

Article I – Founding

The Greyguards were established under the leadership of Kael Virex, former operative of the Advocacy Special Division (ASD), following his departure from UEE jurisdiction. Born from disillusionment and forged through discipline, the organization was created to serve those who operate in the margins of the law — professionals who value precision, profit, and purpose over ideology.

The Greyguards are not a rebellion, nor a cause. They are a syndicate of specialists united by skill and survival.

Article II – Purpose

The Greyguards exist to:

Execute high-value contracts involving elimination, sabotage, and retrieval with discretion and efficiency.

Establish influence through strategic control of information, resources, and leverage.

Maintain operational integrity through loyalty to contract, not creed.

Balance the chaos of the Verse — ensuring no single power remains untouchable.

Article III – Structure

The organization operates under a cell-based hierarchy to ensure secrecy and flexibility:

Command (Kael Virex) – Oversees all operations, intelligence, and contracts.

Enforcers – Senior operatives leading tactical and field teams.

Operators – Core members skilled in infiltration, combat, and reconnaissance.

Assets – Contractors, informants, and freelancers brought in for specialized work.

No member is irreplaceable. No role is permanent. Advancement is earned through efficiency and silence.

Article IV – Code of Conduct

All Greyguards adhere to the following principles:

Secrecy above all. Exposure endangers the mission.

The contract is sacred. Once accepted, it must be completed.

Loyalty is transactional. Trust must be proven through action.

Failure is not forgiven. Every mistake has a price.

The mission outweighs the individual.

Article V – Relations and Operations

The Greyguards maintain no official alignment with UEE, outlaw factions, or megacorporations. Alliances are temporary, built on mutual gain.
They operate primarily in the Stanton, Pyro, and Nyx systems, extending their reach through covert networks and front organizations.

When diplomacy fails, they deliver finality.

Article VI – The Oath

Every initiate must swear the Oath of the Grey before their first mission:

“I walk unseen.
I strike without mercy.
I guard the gray between order and oblivion.
I am a Greyguard.”
