History

Backstory of the Phoenix Initiative

Origin:
The Phoenix Initiative—known by allies as GRACE—was born in the aftermath of tragedy. Founded by Alaria Night, a former combat medic and engineer, GRACE began as a one-woman mission of mercy after a pirate ambush left a civilian convoy helpless. That crisis lit a fire in Alaria’s soul: never again would she let people die for lack of aid.

Armed with a modest severance and a salvaged repair vessel, she patrolled alone at first, responding to distress beacons, reviving the fallen, and patching hulls in the dark. Her drive, compassion, and refusal to turn away grew into something greater: a collective. A creed. A movement.

Focus and Role:
GRACE is a support-class organization, dedicated to healing, building, and restoring. We are not front-line aggressors—we are the backbone of survival.

Core Gameplay Loops:

  • Repair & Technical Support: Operating multi-role ships like the RSI Polaris and Scorpius Antares, GRACE specializes in keeping allied fleets operational. We focus on anti-gunship and anti-bomber suppression, power disruption, and field repairs.
  • Medical Assistance: Trained combat medics deploy planetside and in high-risk areas to revive, stabilize, and extract. If someone falls, we get them back on their feet.
  • Crafting & Basebuilding: As future systems open, we will become a cornerstone of construction—fabricating, assembling, and maintaining outposts and industrial sites.
  • Resource Collection (Future): We will engage in selective mining and refining to fuel our manufacturing chains and support local economies.

What We Are Not:

  • Dedicated Combatants
  • Salvagers
  • Traders

No gameplay loop is forbidden—but members should understand GRACE centers on sustainment, support, and stability above all.

—-

Alliance and Purpose:
GRACE operates as a neutral aid-focused organization and is proudly partnered with the Eridanus Ascendancy, acting as their primary support wing. While we remain independent, we default to flying alongside Eridanus in both combat and exploration zones, strengthening shared goals of security, resilience, and collaboration.

—-

Modern Day:
Today, the Phoenix Initiative is a well-organized, cross-system presence with a sharp focus and a big heart. Our signature colors, matte blue on white, reflect clarity of mission and loyalty to the cause.

We excel in:

  • Fleet Support: Active service aboard Polaris-class vessels and combat-interdiction via Scorpius Antares.
  • Field Medicine: Professional, experienced combat medics, trained in both triage and extraction.
  • Construction & Crafting: Future-oriented production lines for essential supplies and base construction.
