The Galactic Defence Initiative (AKA GDI) is the Galactic government of Stanton. It was founded in accordance with the United Empire of Earth Defence Act (UEEDA), in 2912, as a united force The GDI’s initial goal was to preserve world order but eventually outgrew its original mandate
