Frost-Star began on 07/07/2952 as Pryor-Trauma, founded on Microtech by a diverse group of determined individuals. Initially focused on breaking the Nine Tails gang’s grip on the Stanton System, the organization quickly recognized that the threats they faced extended far beyond their home. As they confronted these dangers, the team’s combined expertise and unyielding resolve shaped a mission that reached beyond protecting their own.
On 07/29/2953: Pryor-Trauma was rebranded as Frost-Star, solidifying its commitment to protecting people and vanquishing villains wherever needed.
Frost-Star specializes in a range of services, including:
- Logistical Support: Ensuring the seamless movement of resources, supplies, and personnel across systems.
- Security Services: Providing armed protection, crisis response, and conflict resolution, focusing on combating criminal threats like the Nine Tails.
- Data, Information, and Exploration Services: Conducting intelligence gathering, reconnaissance, and exploration missions to support clients in navigating the unknown.
Notable Engagements
- 2952: Comm Array ST4-31
Microtech security services contracted Pryor-Trauma for the removal of multiple illegal monitoring devices. Over a ten-day period, a specialized disposal team successfully removed a total of 42 illegal monitors, enhancing security within the system.
- 2952: Battle of Ghost Hollow In a high-stakes mission, Frost-Star engaged Nine Tails forces to rescue a kidnapped VIP at Ghost Hollow. The battle was intense, resulting in heavy casualties on both sides, but Frost-Star emerged victorious, successfully completing all mission objectives.
- 2952: Siege of Orison Frost-Star was enlisted by the Civilian Defense Force (CDF) and Crusader Industries when the Nine Tails seized control of several commercial platforms near Orison. Leading squads and providing air support, Frost-Star played a vital role in retaking the platforms and neutralizing the threat.
- 2953: Defense of Zephyr Frost-Star was called upon by the inhabitants of Zephyr, a settlement on Hurston, to defend against an assault by the Dusters gang. With Lady-Eight’s contacts within the organization, Frost-Star secured the area and halted the gang’s advance without any loss of life.
Frost Star began with humble origins: a group of individuals, all dismayed by the rise of the NineTails gang on MicroTech. Together, we organized to put an end to their chokehold on Stanton, but it wasn’t long before we realized this problem expanded beyond our home system. What good were our skills if we only put them to use to protect ourselves? What was the point of protecting one system, when surrounding systems had it just as bad?
The answer was obvious.
Wherever there are people in need of protection, wherever there are villains in need of vanquishing, we’ll be there to answer the call.
Representing our methods of operations, the Frost Star Doctrine is a set of guidelines for how our organization, and the people that make up its ranks, should function. These are meant to be both a useful tool to help people follow the rules when they matter and to gauge if the org is a good fit for them.
In short, these are our ways of working.
Ranks and command structures exist to make sure that when people’s lives and valuables are on the line, we can respond quickly, effectively, and as a unified front. They do not exist to allow people to enforce their authority in all situations, across all aspects of the game. Our officers recognize that the best orders are the ones given precisely when they need to be given, and that the most respected officers are the ones that give talented individuals the space to breathe and do what they need to do.
Similarly, our members recognize that sometimes, comms need to be cleared and experienced individuals need to be given the opportunity to make precise, informed decisions. When the going gets tough and people are in danger, we respect our officers and their orders, trusting their experience and judgment to get everyone home safe.
While we would all like to pretend real life doesn’t exist while we’re in-game, sometimes it will intrude upon our time in the Verse. When that happens, we expect our members to give each other grace and the space we need. We will never hold it against a member for needing to step away when necessary, or being unable to make an event due to unexpected life circumstances.
Similarly, we expect our members to hold true to their commitments. If you say you’ll be available for an operation, plan accordingly. Don’t abandon your org mates last minute just because you changed your mind.
All members of Frost Star are to be treated with respect and integrity. Our members uphold our beliefs, and simply being a higher rank does not mean you deserve more or less respect than another person. Treat all individuals with compassion, understanding, and respect.
Similarly, we expect our officers to recognize that rank does not inherently indicate one’s knowledge, skill, or understanding. A lower rank member of the organization may know more than an officer, and may be more skilled in a singular discipline than their superior officer. We recognize that all individuals deserve the right to be heard, recognized, and given their moment to share their experience.
At Frost Star, we expect all of our members to follow the rules, obey common sense, and treat individuals with respect. When people break those expectations, we will hold them accountable. If a member breaks our rules, we will treat them accordingly, regardless of their time with the org.
Similarly, every member will be believed and respected. If there are issues with other members, our officers will always treat people fairly and with respect. There will never be retaliation for reporting issues to leadership.
Be respectful to all members. Harassment, trolling, invasion of privacy, discrimination, and slurs aren’t allowed. Unwarranted sexual advances, explicit comments, and other behavior that makes users feel uncomfortable or unsafe will be treated as a direct violation of this rule and carries a strict no-tolerance policy.
This is a safe space for all individuals. Racism, sexism, discrimination against LGBTQIA+ individuals, and other degrading or offensive language is unacceptable.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for hostile and antagonistic language, so don’t intentionally instigate fights or create drama. Avoid bashing or heated arguments with other people in the chat.
Refrain from discussing real world politics and personal political views. Respect the right for people to make their own opinions.
Do not directly advertise, promote, or recruit for other orgs. Personal selling of Star Citizen accounts and ships is not allowed at any time.
Do not intentionally perform or promote the use of glitches, hacks, bugs and other exploits that will cause harm to the community or violate CIG’s Terms of Service.
Don’t post disturbing images, NSFL or gore. Offensive names, avatars, jokes about slavery, r*pe, and other similar topics, and other content of this nature aren’t allowed. NSFW content and meme spamming should only be posted in the #grim-hex or memes channels.
Violation of these rules will be handled on a case-by-case basis, taking into account prior actions of the org member, the severity and volume of the allegations, and the number of rules broken. Typically, a warning will be issued, with repeated violations of the rules resulting in a ban. However, when the severity of the allegations warrants it, the founders reserve the right to immediately move to a ban.
Officer and Founder decisions are final. Arguing with rule enforcement is never allowed. If an Officer or Founder asks you to stop or change your behavior, please do so.
