Build strong. Stand ready. Welcome to the Frontier Forces.

A Brief History of the Frontier Forces

The Frontier Forces were born in the wake of catastrophe. After the Battle of Vega II in 2945, much of the UEE’s outer systems were left exposed, their infrastructure shattered and their security nonexistent. Disillusioned by the Empire’s slow response, a group of veterans and logistics specialists from the Bremen Defense Forces (BDF) broke away, determined to bring order to chaos by their own hands.

What began as a rogue relief and fortification unit quickly evolved into a full-fledged organization dedicated to strategic base construction, autonomous logistics, and perimeter defense across high-risk regions. These pioneers became the Frontier Forces—a self-sufficient collective built on grit, independence, and the belief that no system should be left behind.

Their early successes rebuilding settlements and deploying fortified outposts in Vega drew attention across the ‘verse. As operations expanded into Stanton, the Frontier Forces began establishing off-grid support installations on the fringes of corporate space—offering security and logistics infrastructure to small operators and civilian enclaves who couldn’t afford to rely on the likes of Hurston or Crusader.

The real turning point came when the Frontier Forces set their sights on Pyro. As traffic increased and interest surged in the unstable system, they began building hardened outposts and emergency shelters to serve traders, explorers, and humanitarian groups. Their grounded, pragmatic approach to survival in lawless space earned them a growing reputation as the people who actually got things done.

This pragmatic frontier mindset caught the eye of Consolidated Outland.

Recognizing the strategic value of working with an organization that could build and secure forward bases under extreme conditions, Consolidated Outland entered into a cooperative partnership with the Frontier Forces in 2950. The agreement provided the Forces with access to customized Pioneer-class mobile construction platforms, experimental prefabrication modules, and discrete logistical support channels—all in exchange for field testing, data sharing, and on-the-ground insights into frontier conditions.

It’s a mutually beneficial alliance: CO gains real-world feedback and influence in emerging systems, while the Frontier Forces receive the tools they need to push deeper, build faster, and operate with greater autonomy than ever before.

Today, the Frontier Forces are one of the most respected independent infrastructure and security organizations in the outer systems. Rooted in Bremen discipline, fueled by Consolidated Outland innovation, and guided by a simple truth:

“Aedificamus Ubi Ceteri Fugiunt”
We build where others flee.

Manifesto

“Aedificamus Ubi Ceteri Fugiunt — We build where others flee.”
We are the wall between order and chaos.

We are builders, defenders, and architects of survival—united not by flag or fortune, but by principle. Where the Empire hesitates, and corporations see only cost, we act. We do not wait for orders. We do not beg for support. We make our stand on the edge, where systems fray and civilization ends.

Our roots lie in Bremen, born from those who once wore the uniform but chose a higher purpose when the outer colonies burned. We saw Vega fall, and we swore never again. The government failed. The core turned inward. So we took to the frontier—not to conquer, but to stabilize, to build what others abandoned.

We are not an army. We are not a corporation.
We are infrastructure with intent. Security with steel. Community backed by firepower.

Our installations are not just outposts—they are footholds in the void.
Our convoys are not just supplies—they are lifelines for those left behind.
Our weapons are not for conquest—they are for the defense of the fragile flame of civilization.

We forge alliances, not dependencies.
Our partnership with Consolidated Outland is proof: innovation meets execution. We field-test the future, under real pressure, where it matters most. No headlines. No bureaucracy. Just results.

From the smog-soaked shadows of Stanton’s megacities to the volatile heart of Pyro, we build bastions of hope, trade, and survival. We do not run. We fortify. We hold the line.

If you’re looking for safety, keep moving.
If you’re looking for purpose—build with us.
Frontier Forces
Independent. United. Unshakable.

I. Purpose

The Frontier Forces exist to build, secure, and sustain life beyond the reach of the Empire. Formed in the aftermath of the Battle of Vega II, we stand where others fall back. We are the architects of safety in lawless systems, the wall against disorder, and the backbone of independent survival.

Our mission is fourfold:

  • Build – Construct fortified outposts, supply hubs, and infrastructure in dangerous or neglected systems.
  • Defend – Provide organized, rapid-response security for personnel, assets, and local populations.
  • Sustain – Ensure autonomous logistics and fleet operations far from UEE support.
  • Stabilize – Maintain a lasting, disciplined presence in volatile regions to support civilian development and trade.

We do not seek control—we seek continuity.
We are not a nation—we are a necessity.
We are the Frontier Forces.

II. Command Structure

Grand Admiral of the Frontier Forces
At the helm of all operations stands the Grand Admiral, the supreme commander of the Frontier Forces. This individual is entrusted with the final authority over all military, engineering, and logistical strategy, and embodies the organization’s founding principles: discipline, action, and integrity.

  • Grand Admiral
  • Commodore
  • Captain
  • Commander
  • Lieutenant
  • Ensign

III. Primary Divisions

The Frontier Forces operate through three core divisions, each essential to the organization’s mission:

1. Engineering Division
Motto: “We build the line.”

Charged with designing, deploying, and maintaining all physical infrastructure—habitation, defense installations, landing pads, comms relays, and supply hubs. Engineers operate in hazardous conditions, often alongside Security teams, laying the literal foundations of stability.

Duties include:

  • Construction of planetary and orbital installations
  • Outpost expansion, repair, and hardening
  • Terrain analysis and modular deployment using Pioneer-class platforms
  • Support for civil engineering in allied settlements

2. Security Division
Motto: “We hold the line.”

The shield and sword of the Frontier Forces. Security Division is responsible for defending personnel, infrastructure, and civilians from threats across lawless systems. From pirate incursions in Pyro to criminal suppression in Stanton’s black zones, Security ensures our footholds remain unshaken.

Duties include:

  • Base defense and perimeter patrols
  • Convoy protection and escort operations
  • Threat response, boarding actions, and zone clearance
  • Training and coordination with allied militias or settler defense groups

3. Logistics Division
Motto: “We fuel the line.”

The lifeblood of every deployment. Logistics Wing ensures that materials, fuel, medical supplies, munitions, and personnel move efficiently and securely throughout operational zones. With long-range capability and autonomous routing, they keep the machine running—no matter the distance.

Duties include:

  • Resource acquisition and distribution
  • Fleet coordination and jump route mapping
  • Industrial support (mining, refining, salvage)
  • Resupply, repair, and extraction operations

IV. Code of Conduct

All members of the Frontier Forces pledge to uphold the following principles:

  • Service Over Self – The mission comes first.
  • No Tyranny, No Exploitation – We protect, we do not rule. The defense of our Allies is swift and ruthless.
  • Discipline Without Exception – Orders are followed. Structure is strength.
  • Unity Through Purpose – We stand together. No one builds alone.
  • Legacy of Vega – We remember why we exist.
  • Violations are subject to tribunal review and, if necessary, expulsion.

V. Strategic Alliances

The Frontier Forces maintain an active partnership with Consolidated Outland, whose advanced construction technology—including the Pioneer-class platform—has become foundational to our engineering operations. In return, we provide field data, prototyping feedback, and frontier deployment insight critical to CO’s long-term innovation strategy.

This is a partnership of purpose, not dependence.

VI. Emblem & Motto

“Aedificamus Ubi Ceteri Fugiunt”
We build where others flee.

The Frontier Forces emblem takes the shape of a bold, shield-like crest, reflecting strength, resilience, and protection.

At its crown sits a fortified bastion, flanked by twin towers and a central keep, symbolizing the organization’s commitment to defense, permanence, and infrastructure. This structure is both symbolic and literal—a visual promise of shelter where none existed before.

VII. Amendments & Authority

This charter may be amended by unanimous agreement of the division commanders and the Grand Admiral. In times of existential threat, the Grand Admiral may invoke Crisis Protocol, granting full operational override until the emergency is resolved and reviewed.

Charter sealed and enacted by Grand Admiral and the Council of Division Commanders, 2950.
In defense of the outer systems. In service to the forgotten. In memory of Vega.
