History Manifesto Charter

History

The era of Terran voyages of scientific exploration followed the Age of Discovery and were inspired by a new confidence in science and reason that arose in the Age of Enlightenment. Maritime expeditions in the Age of Discovery were a means of expanding colonial empires, establishing new trade routes and extending diplomatic and trade relations to new territories, but with the Enlightenment scientific curiosity became a new motive for exploration to add to the commercial and political ambitions of the past.

Manifesto

We are the way things will be done for many years to come, we are the future of Exploration & Scientific Research.
For to long we have toyled in obscurity, but now with this manifesto all will relaise that we represent the future and are second to none.

*Certain licensing and commercial practices can restrict access to the products of science and innovation, particularly for those with limited market power. The Federation understands this and dissagrees with it. All with the funding to back a project can expect the Federation to carry it out. Nothing will stand in our way.
  • We will always be the first into an unknown system.
  • We always complet our contracts
  • The pursuit of pure (unapplied) scientific research is clearly in the public interest, since curiosity expands knowledge, which is in itself a good thing. This justifies investment in such research.
  • There is a basic need and interest in access to knowledge. This is why the Federation was created.
  • We will not shy away from research that others find questionable.
  • Our fleet will continue grow and locate new profitable ventures, no matter where it may take us.
  • We will not tolerate any aggresive action taken against us. Any threat will be delt with swiftly.
