History

First organized in 2871 after the Fall of Caliban by former UEE Officer Apollox Asruls, Fenrir’s Sword (FENSWD) began as a small operation accepting small contracts where they could be found. These assignments usually involved colonies that could not tempt larger PMCs to operate in such hazard areas but could ill-afford risking vulnerability from the ever-looming threat of Vanduul raids. These contracts would later extend to guarding convoys, trade ships, and miners as the survivability rate of these colonies increased tremendously.

Continuing success and prosperity of the small PMC begin to result in “odd-jobs” for the Xi’an. This is seen as potentially hazardous and a risk by the UEE and is ordered to immediately cease all operations, now being required to report all operations to the UEE. This excessive scrutiny leads to covert operations running security for any Xi’an. This would ultimately lead to disaster in 2901, as a Xi’an Junker is compromised and all hands are lost, including 15 FENSWD personnel. Luckily this event was not investigated in depth, thus avoiding any unwanted attention from the UEE.

CEO Apollox Asruls makes an executive decision to open new lines of business and officially begins arms trades to all UEE approved clients, while covertly arming any individual or militia that can afford such a risky deal. This would ignite and propel the growth of Fenrir’s Sword to be on par with renown PMC’s such as BlacJac Security and the Northrock Service Group.

After the Attack on Vega II by Vanduul forces, the FENSWD CEO and Board of Directors are killed in the surprise attack, prompting Colonel Judith Braelley to assume command of all FENSWD personnel. Judith quick and coherently organizes all local forces begins to assist the UEE with halting the Vanduul advance until the UEE 2nd Fleet successfully breaks the siege and force the enemy’s retreat. Braelley immediately sets in motion a reorganization from a civilian company to a fully militarized organization, implementing harsher rules and regulations, along with stricter selection and training processes. Due to this chain of events, FENSWD is immediately approved to operate in the Stanton system with free reign from UEE oversight.

Since its founding, our company has been committed to setting and adhering to the highest possible professional and ethical standards, in addition to supporting the introduction of effective national and planetary regulation for the private security sector. We have worked internally and externally to implement and support regulations that reflect international agreements.

Contracts are generally sensitive in nature; therefore, we apply strict rules of confidentiality to our work and client relationships. These rules are reflected in our contractual obligations, corporate code, and employment terms. Our code of confidentiality is absolute. Our security procedures are rigorously enforced to ensure protection both for the client and ourselves.

Contrary to speculation in the press, we do not seek to be rewarded in the form of mineral concessions or other indigenous assets. All contracts have addressed the issue of remuneration in an exclusively monetary form.

Our Supply Corp is specialized in acquisition and transportation to help sustain any organizational operations. This branch conducts broad-gauge planning with an omnibus risk assessment. Our team of “Wagon Masters” will assist in planning and ultimately execution of shipping and mining operations dependent on the situation and operational risks.

– ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT –
FENSWD is and will always remain a neutral organization regardless of the of the situation. We will not engage or place ourselves in a position to be associated with other organizations in anything more than a contractual agreement. All operators are expected to avoid piracy or grieving activities, and thus avoid outfits that rely on these sources of income, unless provided a legitimate form of business opportunity. We desire to preserve our freedom to do as we see fit and continue to operate without a tarnished and biased reputation.
