Manifesto

*Article I — Loyalty Above All

  • The Order comes before self, coin, and clan.
  • The Order stands above all personal alliances, factions, and pursuits.
  • Betrayal is the gravest sin; punishment is decided by the Council or Primarch.
*Article II — The Chain Unbroken (Hierarchy) *
  • Orders descend; accountability ascends.
  • The Council of Ascension interprets the Primarch’s will and resolves disputes.
  • Skipping the chain of command without cause invites censure.
*Article III — The Knight’s Charge (Mentorship) *
  • Knights must select up to two Pages and train them as Squires, shaping their readiness for Knighthood.
  • Failure to guide or neglecting Squires may result in reassignment or loss of mentorship privileges.

*Article IV — The Word Made Record
*

  • All sanctioned operations must be logged: participants, objective, findings, spoils, and contributions.
  • Logs ensure proper credit, resource management, and advancement review.
  • Falsifying mission logs is a high sin, investigated by Justicars, judged by the Council

*Article V — Conduct and Discipline
*

  • Honor is displayed through courage, restraint, and adherence to the Codex.
  • Unjust harm to non-combatants, allies, or neutral parties is forbidden unless sanctioned.
  • Internal disputes remain private; airing grievances publicly dishonors the Order.

*Article VI — Relics and Sacred Seals
*

  • Relics, banners, seals, and artifacts belong to the Order and are never privately claimed without decree.
  • Removal, sale, or defilement of a relic is a sin answered before the Council.

*Article VII — Justice and Judgment
*

  • Justicars: Investigators and enforcers of the Codex. They gather evidence, present findings, and execute verdicts.
  • Council of Ascension: Composed of Chapter Masters, Paladins, and Lord Commanders; decides all rulings on major violations.
  • Primarch: Holds the right of absolute override and final decree.
  • Trials are convened based on severity:
  • Minor infractions → Resolved by Knights, Squires, or a presiding officer.
  • Intermediate breaches → Reviewed by a Justicar and escalated if needed.
  • High crimes (treason, false record, relic theft) → Judged by the Council; the Primarch has override power.

*Article VIII — Spoils and Contribution
*

  • Spoils are recorded within mission logs; contribution determines share allocation.
  • The Order’s tithe (10%) is collected first to fund relic upkeep, logistics, and crusades.

*Article IX — Secrecy and Records
*

  • Operational plans, relic locations, and council decrees are classified unless explicitly authorized.
  • Breaching secrecy is a major violation, reviewed by the Council.

*Article X — The Black Hour (Emergency Powers)
*

  • During catastrophic events, Knights and above may act beyond normal permissions to preserve relics, lives, or mission integrity.
  • Actions must be detailed within the mission log and reviewed afterward by the Council.

*Article XI — Advancement and Merit
*
Rank ascension is based on:

  • Contribution (documented missions, logged results)
  • Merit (skill, leadership, devotion)
  • Trial (formal evaluation, battle, or doctrine)
  • Patronage without qualification is corruption and punishable by demotion.

*Article XII — The Star Endures
*

  • The Codex reflects the will of the Fallen Star, but the Primarch’s decree supersedes all other laws.
  • Changes to the Codex require either the Primarch’s approval or an unanimous Council ruling.

Charter

⚔️ Knight’s Oath

Officiant: “Before the Fallen Star, who claims you?”

Candidate: “The Order claims me, and I claim the Order.”

Officiant: “Who holds your loyalty?”

Candidate: “The Fallen Star, the Council, and the Primarch.”

Officiant: “What will you protect?”

Candidate: “The weak, the worthy, and the will of the Order.”

Officiant: “And what do you swear?”

Candidate:
“I, [Name], swear loyalty to the Fallen Star, to its Primarchs, and to the Council that guards its will.
I vow to train those entrusted to me, to uphold the Codex, to speak truth in record, and to guard relics with my life.
I wield strength without cruelty, judgment without bias, and steel without hesitation.
By oath and blade, by blood and breath, I swear: The Star endures, and by it, so shall I.”
