History Manifesto Charter

History

Initial Conception:

Exodus PMC was initially created by Halfrican as a placeholder organization in anticipation of Star Citizen’s full release.

Active Kickstart:

The organization gained momentum and structure when Halfrican and BigAI decided to actively develop it.

Dual Org Structure:

The decision to create both Exodus Militia and Exodus PMC stemmed from a desire to accommodate more than six ranks and to align with different gameplay styles and organizational goals. The Militia was envisioned for broader, more accessible activities, while the PMC focused on specialized operations and inter-organizational coordination. The overarching entity encompassing both would be Exodus Group.

Early Membership:

The first members were primarily close friends, many of whom were new to Star Citizen but possessed significant gaming experience. Leadership played a key role in training and integrating these new players.

Early Event Experience

The “Siege of Orison” event was an early, formative experience for the org, marked by both enthusiastic participation and the challenges of learning a new in-game event. A notable, albeit humorous, incident involved BigAI’s accidental ejection from a ship during the chaos.

  • Growth at Your Pace: We understand that everyone learns and progresses differently. The Militia provides a space where you are encouraged to develop your skills at your own speed, without unrealistic expectations or pressure.
  • Casual Engagement, Meaningful Participation: While we organize events and activities, particularly those aligned with in-game happenings like PvE combat scenarios, our approach is casual. Participation in scheduled events is expected for those who sign up, but we respect individual commitments and playstyles. You won’t be asked to fly a capital ship on your first day!
  • Diverse Activities, Shared Experience: Our activities span a range of gameplay, from participating in large-scale combat events that mirror the challenges presented by CIG, to smaller, more focused industrial outings. We also prioritize providing practical training sessions led by experienced members, allowing you to hone specific skills in a supportive setting.

Preamble

We, the members of the Exodus Militia, united by a shared interest in Star Citizen and a desire for a positive and engaging community, hereby establish this charter to outline our core principles and expectations.

Article I: Purpose

  • Community and Support: We aim to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where players of all experience levels can connect, learn, and participate in the Star Citizen universe together.
  • Active Engagement: We encourage members to actively engage in organized activities and contribute to the collective experience of the Militia.

Article II: Member Conduct

  • Respectful Interaction: All members are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy. Toxic behavior, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Reliable Participation: Members who commit to participating in scheduled events are expected to make reasonable efforts to attend. If unforeseen circumstances arise, timely communication is appreciated.
