History
The Excalibur Syndicate was officially formed in March 2943, during the height of the Xenothreat escalations and rising corporate militarization in the Stanton system. The founders, a cadre of former UEE Navy spec-ops, defunct Advocacy agents, and disillusioned PMC commanders recognized the growing power vacuum in unregulated space. Where once law held sway, now only power and reputation mattered.
They saw the need for a new kind of force:
Not beholden to government.
Not controlled by megacorps.
Not shackled by red tape.
A brotherhood with blades drawn, but codes intact.
Thus, Excalibur Syndicate was born an independent network of freelance operatives and tactical units committed to high-risk contracts and honor-bound operations. Named after the legendary sword of justice and sovereignty, Excalibur symbolized a weapon of power wielded with principle.
From 2943 to 2946, the Syndicate operated in secretive cells across Stanton, Nyx, and Castra, building a reputation among fixers, smugglers, and desperate outposts as a group that got the job done without collateral mess or moral rot.
In October 2947, Excalibur Syndicate stepped from shadow into structure. The first High Council was appointed, its internal code ratified, and recruitment opened to the public. Their Spectrum presence launched quietly, and whispers of the Syndicate spread like wildfire in the undercurrents of the Verse.
By the Time 2955, the Excalibur Syndicate is a known but enigmatic name among private military brokers, outer-system colonies, and rogue UEE insiders. Excalibur had transitioned from a small rebel network into a formidable freelance force, operating with military precision, but free of imperial leash.
Manifesto
We are Excalibur Syndicate a brotherhood of elite freelancers, mercenaries, and security specialists who forge our own fate in the deep black. Unbound by the laws of the UEE and unbought by the mega-corps, we carry the blade of justice — or vengeance — into the stars.
Some call us outlaws. Others call us guardians.
We call ourselves free.
We answer to no nation, no flag, no corrupt admiral or politician. Every contract we take is by choice and every action, by conviction. Our strength is our independence. We operate by our code. No betrayal. No backstabbing. Inside the Syndicate, loyalty is sacred. Outside it? Earn our respect or our fire. We are not blunt instruments. We are scalpels in a universe that favors hammers. Tactical, surgical, and lethal when necessary our missions leave no loose ends. We chase credits, yes but not at the expense of our soul. No slaver convoys. No corporate exterminations. We don’t do genocide-for-hire. You want monsters? Look elsewhere.

All members retain operational independence. Missions are taken by choice, not mandate. No member shall be coerced into contracts that conflict with their values.

The Syndicate’s strength lies in its code: no betrayal, no backstabbing, and no abandonment of allies. Your word is your weapon wield it with discipline.
3. Brotherhood
We stand together. In combat. In commerce. In conflict. No Syndicate member is ever left behind without a fight.
4. Precision
We value skill over chaos. Excalibur strikes with purpose, not recklessness. Mission execution is expected to be efficient, clean, and professional.
5. Profit with Boundaries
We are not slavers, terrorists, or assassins for hire. The Syndicate does not engage in genocide, human trafficking, or war crimes no matter the payout.
