History

Eir Medical & Security, originally known simply as Eir Medical was founded in 2950 as a paramedical & rescue company in the Terra System. Beginning its humble existence with converted military vehicles as the need for armed medical escort between planets became a necessity and was solved by our mandate for all medical personnel to be armed at all times for both their safety, and more importantly, the safety of their patients.

In 2953 the company has expanded Operations to the Stanton System and relocated its Headquaters to Orison.

Eir Medical & Security is an organization dedicated to the wellbeing and safety of the general public with our highly experienced, dedicated and armed paramedical personnel.

Charter

Regulations for Eir Medical personnel

FAILING TO ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES WILL RESULT IN EMLPOYEE TERMINATION
  1. All personnel are to be armed and equipped with their assigned uniform while on duty.
    • Standard equipment includes: ParaMed Medical Device, S-38 Pistol, P8-AR Assault Rifle, TCS-4 Arctic Undersuit, ORC-MkV Armor Red and the G-2 Helmet Red.
    • Any modification to equipment must be approved by a Director or above.
  2. Eir Medical is a legitimate business, thus employees are not to engage in criminal activities during the course of their employment
    • Criminal records and any outstanding fines must be disclosed to Management, and resolved with the correct authorities before employment begins.
  3. Eir Medical will not recover or assist any known criminals, pirates or other lawless individuals
  4. The safety of the Patients is the utmost priority to all personnel, use of lethal force is authorized to ensure their safe recovery.
    • However, the most senior personnel on scene may refuse recovery if risk to employee safety is too great. Any such incident will be investigated thoroughly to determine if the decision was correct. Recovery fee will be refunded.
    • If employees are found at fault, additional compensation will be awarded to the patient or any available next of kin.
  5. Patients are not to be left unattended for any reason.
