The organization first appeared in scattered intelligence reports, ghosting across battlefields where no reinforcements had been sent, no orders had been issued, and no survivors remained. When questioned, command denied their existence. Yet their work was unmistakable, precision kills, vanishing enemy outposts, data stripped clean, high-value targets erased mid-sentence.
According to fragmented testimony from ex-military insiders, Echo Group began as an off-the-books black unit, designed to operate where legality, morality, and diplomacy failed. They recruited from the forgotten ranks, court-martialed commandos, burned intelligence agents, survivors of classified disasters. Men and women whose only loyalty was to results, not flags.
