Founded in 2893, Dark Void Exploration LLC began as a covert initiative under the UEE’s now-defunct Frontier Stabilization Accord, tasked with surveying unstable jump points and recovering high-value assets lost in fringe systems. The project was classified, its operatives nameless, and its charter written in modular code—designed for deniability, not legacy.
But legacy came anyway.

When the Accord collapsed in 2898, DVEX refused dissolution. Its founding members—ex-cartographers, rogue engineers, and deep-space medics—restructured the initiative into a private guild, preserving its operational logic but rewriting its purpose: to explore the void not as conquerors, but as stewards.
