Welcome to Death On Credit! We are a corporation of mercenaries looking to expand and give other mercs easy access to network with other mercs and clients. If you’re interested in growing your network then feel free to join, whether as an affiliate or as a member, we would love to have you!

History

THE BEGINNING

The Founder of DEOCR (codenamed MadSoul87) noticed during his adventures across the ‘Verse that the consistent need for Mercenaries was usually hampered by one thing, communication and organization. Mercenary crews may be internally organized and undoubtedly deadly forces to be reckoned with but getting them to work together was another story. The Founder wanted to find a way to change this, to find a way to bring mercenaries together and create an information hub for them to network through.

ENTER DEOCR

The Founder decided that he had to do something. Would it be easy? In no way shape or form, but it had to be attempted. Bringing together mercenaries and aligning them towards a common goal would be no small feat, but every merc has something in common, credits. Mercs can dish out pain, can dish out lead, can dish out energy beams, and they always know to prove they’re worth the credits being paid for their services. The question is, where are the next credits coming from? DEOCR aims to help remedy the need to ask that question.

WHAT’S NEXT?

The Founder has created DEOCR to build towards the future. There’s only one way to do that though, we need you!

Manifesto

Hello, MadSoul87 here, and I am going to explain our four main goals here in Death On Credit.

  • First and foremost, to create an Information Hub for all members and affiliates to network current and future missions and contracts
  • Second, we watch out for own even if only affiliated with us. Members are members and our services still extend to full time and part time members.
  • Third, we take a job, we finish the job. Success is the goal, but seeing the job to completion no matter the outcome is the standard.
  • Finally, we set clear and concise parameters to each and every contract. This includes cost of services and expected services, including emergency funding if things end up going sideways. EMERGENCY FUNDING WILL BE ADDED AT END OF MISSION IF NECESSARY

THE RULES
Just because we are mercenaries, does not mean we cannot hold to a code of ethics.

  1. 1 – As stated in the Manifesto, if we take a contract, we complete the contract. This goes double for player-to-player contracts.
  1. 2 – NO FRIENDLY FIRE, once or twice during an intense situation is to be expected, but consistently hitting fellow Corporation members and affiliates during a mission will be grounds for reprimand and punishments.
  1. 3 – Play to YOUR skills, not everyone else. If there is a mission coming up and you know you have a skill that would better suit elsewhere then say something. The mission pays the same whether we get done at the expected time, or sooner than expected. Who knows, we could get a bonus for being extra effective.
  1. 4 – When assigned to group and placed under the command of a DEOCR Officer please follow the commands as closely as possible. We are mercenaries, I know, but being highly effective is preferable over petty squabbles.
  1. 5 – LOOT! There’s sure to be plenty to go around. Though I am a firm believer in first come first serve, we also need to keep in mind of assets outside of the Operational Area that may want to also take part in going through the gear of the fallen. All looting will be held on pause until all operatives are on site and are given a fair chance to find some new to them pieces.
  1. 6 – Also, to add to #5, if you see a teammates body, leave it alone. Just because you know there is something nice and shiny in the backpack that you want, doesn’t mean you have rights to it because they took a stray Rattler to the dome.
  1. 7 – Don’t be a jackwad or a prick. We all enjoy escaping from life to enjoy the ‘Verse and though this shouldn’t have to be a rule, I’m nipping it in the arse before I’m given a reason to make it a rule. We will not discriminate against who joins and sure as hell won’t abide by it in any shape or form. This isn’t a safe space, but it’s a space where everyone can enjoy themselves, E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E.

(THIS LIST CAN AND WILL EXPAND AS TIME GOES ON)

MadSoul87 here, I’ve put this at the very bottom of the last page to see if you’ve actually read through everything and made a conscious decision to join up. Here is the link to the Death On Credit Discord, https://discord.gg/kVff4n7zhq. We look forward to hearing from you.
