May 5th, 2952, marked a pivotal day in the history of the United Earth Imperial Navy. Amid a growing tension across the Stanton system, the Navy’s command established the 12th Carrier Battle Group, an ambitious new unit conceived to address the increasingly complex and unpredictable nature of galactic warfare.
The Battle Group was the brainchild of Legatus Navium Lavinia Wallingford, a visionary officer with a reputation for decisiveness and innovation. Wallingford understood the unpredictable nature of modern warfare and saw the need for a mobile, versatile, and autonomous fleet. The bold strategy to create the 12th Carrier Battle Group was quickly approved, and soon, the new unit would be stationed in one of the most critical sectors of human space.
In its earliest months, the 12th Carrier Battle Group was an experiment in operational flexibility. Under the direct control of the Third Fleet Commander, Asbul Nicki, it was quickly recognized for its unique composition. Wallingford’s vision came to life with a mix of specialized carrier ships, advanced fighters, and support vessels. However, in the beginning, the group’s purpose was still largely unclear—it was a floating enigma within the broader structure of the Imperial Navy.
By late 2953, the growing instability in Stanton’s borders would test the 12th Carrier Battle Group’s capabilities in ways no one had anticipated. In what would later be known as the Stanton System Incursion, a dangerous alien faction, Xenothreat, launched a devastating assault on the system. It was an unprecedented attack—a test of human resilience against an enemy more technologically advanced and relentless than anything previously encountered. The 12th Carrier Battle Group was thrust into the heart of the conflict. The Battle Group’s fleet, bolstered by the UEES Warhammer, a Javelin-class destroyer, and numerous Civilian Defense Force PMCs, fought back valiantly. The coordinated assault between military and civilian forces turned the tide of battle. Xenothreat’s forces were forced to retreat, and their invasion plans fell apart.
It was a defining moment for the newly-formed group. Commodore Fuller, then Captain of the 12th, was promoted for his leadership during the defense of Stanton, his quick decision-making and unwavering determination earning him respect across the fleet. With the threat neutralized, the 12th Carrier Battle Group’s reputation was solidified as a reliable and fierce unit within the United Earth Navy.
Fuller’s most trusted aide, Master Chief Petty Officer Krakenkodes, had served at his side for years, the two men weathering countless missions and crises together. When Krakenkodes received his promotion to Command Master Chief, the news sent ripples through the ranks. It was more than a change in title—it was recognition of a bond forged in battle and of a mind long known for its precision and cunning. Many believed his appointment marked the dawn of a new era for the 12th Battle Group.
A few months later, Commodore Poetryluxury was appointed Deputy Group Commander, solidifying the leadership core. Where Krakenkodes brought sharp strategy and intimate knowledge of Fuller’s command style, Poetryluxury carried authority and vision, his presence on the command deck a steady counterbalance. Together, they formed a triumvirate of leadership—Fuller, Krakenkodes, and Poetryluxury—three men whose combined strengths would come to define the group’s campaigns, steering the 12th into an uncertain future.
By the end of 2954, the 12th Carrier Battle Group had undergone significant changes. The Navy had long been content with maintaining rigid command structures, but the successful operations in Stanton proved the importance of flexibility and rapid response. With their growing success, Wallingford was granted permission to transition the group into an independent and autonomous task force.
The Battle Group was no longer merely a part of the Third Fleet—it had become a specialized unit capable of making decisions on the fly and operating under its own set of rules. Legatus Wallingford’s decision to rebrand the group as a “self-contained” attack and defense force within the Stanton system gave the group the freedom to act without waiting for orders from higher-ups in the Navy. The strategic pivot towards autonomy marked a key turning point in the unit’s evolution, solidifying its role in galactic defense.
As the 12th Carrier Battle Group’s influence continued to grow, the United Earth Navy bestowed upon it a powerful new asset: the U.E.E.S. Alabama, a Capital-class Idris-M Frigate. This ship was named after Commodore Fuller’s home state of Alabama. The USS Alabama (SSBN-731), an Ohio-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, the seventh United States vessel to be named for the state of Alabama. The boat’s motto, “Audemus Jura Nostra Defendere” (“We dare defend our rights”), was a symbol of the Battle Group’s newfound strength.
The Alabama was a technological marvel—armed with state-of-the-art weaponry, advanced defensive systems, and a complement of elite personnel. It was a symbol of the United Earth Navy’s trust in the Battle Group’s capabilities and a direct response to the growing threats in the Stanton system. The Alabama was assigned as the centerpiece of the 12th, providing the firepower and logistical support necessary for any major confrontation.
With the U.E.E.S. Alabama now under their command, the 12th Carrier Battle Group had solidified itself as the tip of the spear in United Earth’s strategy to maintain order in the Stanton system. Under the steady leadership of newly promoted Rear Admiral Fuller, the sharp strategic mind of Command Master Chief Petty Officer Krakenkodes—his longtime comrade-in-arms—and the firm authority of Deputy Group Commander Commodore Poetryluxury, the 12th was now prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead, whether from hostile alien forces or the unpredictable nature of galactic geopolitics.

h2. FAQs
You have not completed on-boarding with our N1 Staff yet or you have not completed Basic Training yet. Once you have completed both you will become a full fledged member of the 12th Carrier Battle Group.
A. All leadership positions in the 12th CVBG (Section Heads, Ship Commanders, Team Leaders, Recruiters, Intel, Battle Group Officers, etc) are 100% unallowed to affiliate with other orgs due to the nature of their positions and classification levels. Membership in affiliate orgs must be approved on a case by case basis. Submit any intent to the N1.
B. Membership in the 12th requires all members to be a primary member of the ADI org and must not be set as affiliate. They may join ‘club style’ affiliate orgs, but leadership reserves the right to blacklist orgs, or prohibit membership if said membership poses a security risk.
C. At no time may any member of CVBG12 be an affiliate of an organization that practices piracy or griefing.
D. Attempts to hide or redact org status from leadership or the general public will result in the immediate discharge of any member caught doing so. There is no exception to this rule.
We are a very organized team of members that are passionate about the game. While some of our members are hardcore players, we do not require our members to be hardcore players. We accept all players that share our goals and interests, regardless of them being casual or hardcore. The 12th believes in the rule that “Real life comes first” and will never tell you to put the unit over your real life, job, and certainly not over your family under any circumstances.
Starman have the ability to rank up in our unit according to our roleplay aspects. Enlisted Starman and Marines will rank faster than their Officer counterparts with Aviation Officers ranking up the slowest. Upon graduation from Boot Camp you will achieve the rank of E-2 (Starman or Trooper). The first 3 ranks from E-2 thru E-4 are automatic and O-1 to O-2 are automatic.) O3 and E5 and above require qualification and boarding.
We have a Naval, Marine and Aviation training regiment for our new players and refresher training for our veteran players. Each training goes over the fundamentals of what it means to be a Starman or Marine in the unit. Example being a Navy Fleet Starman will learn how to do gunnery as a primary. Specialization training will take place for other rates such as Medical. Training is very easy except for training for our SEALs and our Pilots. Their training is more in depth and focused.
Being a pilot or a Seal is no easy thing. We expect a lot out of them due to their inherit responsibility of protecting our fleet and our ground operators. Their pipeline is not for the weak and if you don’t have the time to learn it don’t bother applying for it. SEALs are the cream of the crop for our ground forces. They are always either practicing or on mission. Only the best become SEALs if you wont put the time and commitment into it you will be weeded out.
We take our reputation very seriously. As such, any members participating in any activity including, but not limited to, piracy, extortion, or any other illegal activities as defined by Navy Regulation, will be disciplined. These disciplinary measures can include being discharged from the unit, demotion, or firing. This is dependent on how serious the infraction was.
Have you now, or have you ever, participated in acts of piracy in any game or intend to in the future?
If the answer is yes, this is not the place for you
