“Where old stars and new pilots meet the First Horizon.”

History

Circle of the First Horizon traces its roots back to a cramped hab, a tangle of cables, and a jury-rigged “full hub” of routers and sim-rigs. Long before the ‘verse opened up, a small circle of friends were linking their local machines just to fly together, race, and crash test whatever ships they could get their hands on. That makeshift relay became known as the Full Hub, and over time the name stuck to the crew as much as the hardware.

When official enlistment opened and the first test sectors came online in the mid-2940s, that same circle registered as an organization. They chose Circle of the First Horizon to mark what they were aiming for: to be there at the edge of whatever came next, together, from day one. The old acronym CoFH lived on as a quiet nod to their LAN-era origins and the stubborn little hub that started it all.

Over the years, CoFH has stayed active through patches, wipes, and long quiet spells between updates. Members have grown older, moved systems, swapped ships and roles—but the core idea never changed: small, tight crews flying with people they trust. The Circle has run everything from humble cargo contracts and survey runs to security escorts and high-risk operations, always favoring coordination and camaraderie over raw numbers.

Today, Circle of the First Horizon is a veteran org that still feels like a long-running crew: a place for pilots who value history, teamwork, and the shared thrill of pushing toward the next horizon…one jump at a time.

Manifesto

Circle of the First Horizon was born in crowded rooms full of humming machines, long nights, and a stubborn belief that flying together is better than flying alone. We were there at the first glimmer of this ‘verse, and we intend to be there every time a new horizon appears.

We are a circle, not a hierarchy of strangers. We value competence, curiosity and camaraderie over raw headcount or tryhard grind. We run small crews, talk to each other, and treat every op—from a simple haul to a risky escort—as a shared story worth telling later.

Our intentions are simple:

  • Explore the First Horizon – chart routes, scout dangers, and learn the shape of the ‘verse.
  • Build and protect – industry, logistics, and security working together so our people can thrive.
  • Raise each other up – teach new pilots, respect veterans, and celebrate skill without ego.
  • Stay human – real life comes first; no mandatory grind, no toxic drama, no abuse or bigotry.

CoFH exists for players who want a long-term home, a dependable crew, and the quiet pride of knowing that when the next horizon appears, we’re already en route—with people we trust on our wing.

Charter

Circle of the First Horizon – Charter

These are the public rules all members of CoFH agree to abide by.

—-

1. Respect the Circle
  • Treat all members and allies with respect.
  • Harassment, bigotry, hate speech, and targeted griefing are not tolerated.
  • Disagreements are handled like adults, in private channels where possible.

—-

2. Real Life First
  • Real life always comes before the game.
  • No mandatory playtime, attendance quotas, or pressure to log in.
  • If you’re stepping away for a while, a quick note is appreciated but not required.

—-

3. Conduct in the ‘Verse
  • Follow game rules and Terms of Service. No cheats, hacks, or exploits.
  • PvP, piracy, and gray-area gameplay (if we engage in it) must be organized and purposeful—no random griefing or spawn camping.
  • When flying under the CoFH banner, remember you represent the Circle.

—-

4. Communication & Comms
  • Use voice comms for group ops when possible; clear calls keep crews alive.
  • Listen to the designated op lead during missions; questions and suggestions are welcome but timing matters.
  • Keep public channels relatively clean; NSFW content stays in clearly marked spaces (if we allow it at all).

—-

5. Teamplay & Support
  • Help newer pilots when you can—share knowledge, not condescension.
  • Respect other players’ time: be on roughly when you say you will for scheduled ops.
  • Loot, profit, and rewards on organized missions should follow the op leader’s stated plan.

—-

6. Multi-Org & Representation
  • Multi-org membership is allowed, as long as it doesn’t conflict with CoFH operations or security.
  • Don’t recruit from CoFH for rival orgs.
  • If you’re doing something that could reflect badly on the Circle, don’t fly under CoFH tags.

—-

7. Conflict & Discipline
  • Issues between members should first be handled calmly between those involved.
  • If that fails, bring it to an officer/leader with logs or clear context.
  • Leadership may issue warnings, remove roles, or remove members if behavior repeatedly violates this charter.

—-

8. The Spirit of the Circle
  • We are a long-running crew, not a faceless zerg.
  • Fly with integrity, have fun, and look out for the people on your wing.
  • When in doubt, ask: Does this make the Circle stronger and the ‘verse more fun for the people around me? If not—don’t do it.
