History

Born from the chaos of rising piracy and political instability on the frontier, the Colonial Defence Initiative was founded to protect vulnerable colonies and safeguard humanity’s expansion into the stars. What began as a coalition of independent captains and militia forces soon evolved into a highly organized fleet, uniting capital ships, fighter wings, and logistics crews under one banner.

Through countless battles defending trade routes, escorting convoys, and repelling hostile incursions, CDI earned its reputation as the steadfast shield of the colonies. Today, CDI stands as a symbol of strength, discipline, and unity — ensuring that no colony faces the darkness of the verse alone.

Now the CDI makes its home primarily in the Nyx system helping to protect the community of Levski from the many Vanduul incursions and keeping the shipping lanes clear of pirates and those seeking harm on others. The CDI continues the search for more like minded individuals to join our cause.

We hold the borders. We guard the trade lanes. We ensure that prosperity reaches every world, and that no family lives in fear of raiders, tyrants, or lawless factions.

We are the Future.
Our mission is more than survival — it is hope. Every operation we lead, every battle we fight, is a step toward a safer verse where humanity can grow without fear.
