The History of Obsidian Legion
Obsidian Legion was forged from a small band of pilots united by their love of Star Citizen and the limitless opportunities the ‘verse provides. What began as a casual crew of explorers and traders quickly grew into a disciplined organization built on strength, adaptability, and unity. The name “Obsidian Legion” reflects both resilience and purpose—like obsidian, we are sharp, unyielding, and forged under pressure; like a legion, we are a collective force greater than the sum of our parts.
From simple trading runs to daring combat operations, the Legion’s reputation expanded. Escort missions, bounty hunts, contested zones, and strategic ground operations became the backbone of our efforts. To support this growth, specialized divisions were formed, each handling a core aspect of our operations: Resource Management, Research & Development, Transportation, Peacekeeping, Exploration, and Mentorship.
Today, Obsidian Legion stands as a united and disciplined force, blending professionalism with camaraderie. Whether advancing technology, defending allies in PvP, or charting the unknown reaches of the galaxy, our members have the support and resources they need to thrive.

Article I: Name and Identity
The organization shall be known as Obsidian Legion. We are a Star Citizen community defined by discipline, camaraderie, and the relentless pursuit of excellence across all aspects of the ‘verse. Like obsidian, we are forged under pressure—unyielding, sharp, and enduring. As a Legion, we move as one.
Article II: Purpose and Goals
1. Purpose:
To provide a disciplined yet welcoming environment where pilots of all backgrounds can grow, collaborate, and achieve success in both casual and large-scale operations.
2. Goals:
Excel in diverse gameplay activities, including industry, logistics, combat, and exploration.
Build a unified community where mentorship, teamwork, and camaraderie drive success.
Establish Obsidian Legion as a respected and formidable presence in the Star Citizen universe.
Article III: Membership
1. Eligibility:
Membership is open to all players who embody the Legion’s values of loyalty, respect, and unity.
2. Expectations:
Members must:
Represent Obsidian Legion with honor, integrity, and professionalism.
Actively participate in the organization’s missions, training, or community activities.
Place the good of the Legion above personal gain when duty calls.
3. Structure:
High Command: Leadership responsible for strategy, governance, and overall direction.
Divisions: Specialized branches focusing on core operations such as Peacekeeping, Exploration, Resource Management, and R&D.
Legionnaires: The strength of the Legion, pilots and crew who bring life to every mission.
