History
In 2950, the mining colony of Braxis Ridge on the outskirts of Odin came under attack by a large pirate confederation using military-grade equipment—suspected to be backed by a corrupt offshoot of Crusader Industries.
The UEE refused to respond, citing jurisdictional ambiguity. The Black Legion, under Warden Elias Thorne, deployed two full strike units without a contract—acting purely to defend the civilians.
Over the course of seven days, the Legionnaires held the ridge with fewer than 150 fighters against over 600 pirates and three corvettes. By utilizing adaptive tactics, orbital misdirection, and near-telepathic team coordination, they repelled the attackers with minimal civilian casualties.
This battle solidified their reputation as both strategic geniuses and true defenders of the common people.

Charter
The Black Legion operates like a tightly disciplined military force. Every recruit goes through “The Crucible”, a brutal trial of endurance, tactics, and moral judgment. Only those who pass earn the right to wear the sigil of the Legion: a black banner behind a silver shield, symbolizing power bound by principle.
The Code of Steel is their internal doctrine:
1. Never leave a Legionnaire behind.
2. Never fire without purpose.
3. Never break trust.
4. Discipline above glory.
5. The Legion stands, or falls, together.
