History
The Bilge Rats were founded as a concept in 2955 by Elcid Morgan and Josef Essorexx in their home system of Pyro. After exploring the many opportunities available to industrious individuals, the two decided their efforts and expertise may be best spent in service to larger like-minded Orgs. To this day, their colors can be found supporting other Privateers, Small Militias, and even Industry Orgs.

The Bilge Rats firmly believe in the personal freedoms of the individual. While we are willing to work together and with others to achieve a common goal, it is important to us that such arrangements do not come before the personal freedoms of each member to BILRAT. Every member of the Bilge Rats is a member by their own will, and are welcome to pursue their own interests and apply their skills how they see fit. Naturally, we find ourselves at odds from time to time with the Empire, Corpos, and boot-licking PMC’s.

Bilge Rat Tenants
- Don’t infringe upon those freedoms of your fellow members
- Don’t work for free
- Don’t break your agreements
- Don’t hit the guys paying us
- Respect the advice and orders of your Officers
If a member is unable or unwilling to abide by these few tenants, they are free to leave the Org.
