AdRis Systems is a small corporation dedicated to helping its members reach their goals within the galaxy, be that as a trader, an explorer, a miner or whatever it is that they are interested in.

Lore:

AdRis was formed by the CEO, Hawkwar, in a small office within Port Olisar. Since then, the corporation has grown a small cadre of dedicated pilots and is looking to expand its activities across known space in pursuit of happiness….. and credits.

The AdRis Systems Charter

Fun.

Without fun, the corporation will suffer as members depart for destinations unknown. As such, fun will be an important part of a pilot’s life and AdRis Systems will do what it can to help with the pursuit of happiness. That is not to say that, from time to time, pilots won’t be requested to stay on to complete different activities, but this will be the exception rather than the rule.

Profit.

AdRis Systems will seek to run activities where all participants can expect some income and, by extension, profit from corporation activities.

Rewards.

Apart from profiting at and from activities, the corporation will seek to ensure that those members who put in greater effort than expected or required will be adequately rewarded for their efforts.

Corporation Structure

The corporation structure is relatively straight-forward and easily understood. The CEO is the ‘chief cat-herder’ (his words) who will guide the corporation’s group activities. His main assistants in this will be the board directors, who will step up to assume the role of Acting CEO during periods of absence, but will otherwise assume a role of ‘first amongst peers’ such that all members will have an equal say in the corporation’s activities; the CEO has the pleasure of selecting and guiding the corporation towards group activities and/or resolving any disagreements or similar.

Above all, the corporation will seek to ensure that all members are content wherever possible, creating a positive experience for all involved.

Disclaimer

The board members understand that this is, ultimately, a game and recognise that members will need to take breaks to deal with “Real Life”. This means that if there is a choice between the game world and the real world, that the real world will take precedence; further, the corporation will not penalise members who choose the real world.
