I don’t make noise. I don’t make promises I can’t keep. I move cargo, I bring in marks, and sometimes—when the conditions are right—I go out there to learn something the rest of the 'verse hasn’t figured out yet.
I used to be part of the Jericho Link Array—an old comms relay project meant to stitch the Pyro fringe into the UEE net. It collapsed. Budget cuts. Politics. Half the team scattered before the last ping went dead. I didn’t. I stayed behind, long enough to pick up a few things the brass forgot to lock down.
Now I run solo under UEE contract. Freight, bounty recovery, survey work—whatever keeps the thrusters warm and the log clean. I fly lean. One ship, one system at a time. I don’t take shortcuts, and I don’t cross lines. People call me methodical. I call it not dying.
