Pyruska was born in Area 18, ArcCorp, in the Stanton system. Coming from a family of astrography scholars, she chose to study the mind instead, exploring how cosmic events influence individuals and society. At 17, she authored The Book of Star Patterns, predicting political and natural events through mind maps showing how to influence people and detailing the fall of empires. Only 9 copies were printed before it was banned. Her work was deemed false, and she was sentenced to death. Worse—her existence was erased from records and memories using secret tech she had exposed. But Deathbane, her first reader, anticipated this and helped her escape. Together, they formed a nomadic group with no allegiance to any planet, rebelling against corrupt empires and seeking the unknown. Their dream: to explore beyond the planisphere, into a new solar system where they truly belong.
