Born into a 3rd generation military family and moving from base to base left indelible marks and sense of community. After some serious medical injuries during his active service in Combat Logistics and before the long prolonged periods of hot and cold incursions at the border, Fahad ibn'Zane was encouraged to leave the family tradition behind and seek his fortune on the frontier.
Fulfilling his father's wishes and doing a tour of voluntary civil service, Fahad joined the civil sector and led small and large teams of independent miners and salvagers (part of the Rust Society) with successful projects. But this all changed after Vega, whereupon he returned to the family traditions and moved sector outwards.
