Zartha: A History Reclaimed
Zartha first took shape in 2952 amid the smoldering wreckage of an Oberon system security contract gone wrong. A coalition of freelance crews and a corporate sponsor set out to clear a derelict mining field overrun by hostile forces. When command and communication collapsed, most contractors fled. A small group stood their ground. Through the wreckage of shattered terraforming pumps and dying power conduits, they fought to protect trapped civilians and extract stranded engineers. No orders. No backup. Only resolve. From that crucible, Zartha was born.
For months that followed, Zartha existed in whispers and back channels. Crewmembers slipped in and out of Stanton system space trading escort runs, asset recoveries, and covert reconnaissance for independent clients. Reputation mattered more than publicity.
