History

Founded in the early days of deep space expansion, the United Danes Initiative (UDI) was formed by a group of Danish citizens determined to carve out a shared future among the stars. Rooted in cooperation, resilience, and northern tradition, UDI began as a small fleet focused on exploration and trade, but quickly grew into a unified voice for Danish players across the ‘verse.

Drawing on a legacy of seafaring and solidarity, the Initiative embraces players of all paths — from peaceful cargo haulers to combat-ready patrols — always upholding the spirit of community, equality, and shared purpose. As new systems opened, UDI stood firm: not as conquerors, but as collaborators.

Today, UDI continues to thrive as a welcoming hub for Danes and friends alike. We may hail from a small nation, but in the stars, our unity makes us strong.

Manifesto

We are the United Danes Initiative — a collective of Danish citizens and friends united by a shared purpose: to explore, trade, build, and thrive together in the ever-expanding ‘verse.

Rooted in community, we believe that no one flies alone. Whether you’re a solo pilot, a crew member, or a fleet commander, you are part of something greater here — a brotherhood bound by trust, respect, and the legacy of Nordic cooperation.

We don’t aim to dominate — we aim to connect.
We don’t seek control — we seek collaboration.
We value freedom of play, mutual support, and the power of shared ambition.

From asteroid belts to bustling spaceports, we carry our identity with pride — as Danes, as explorers, and as allies. Together, we fly not just as individuals, but as a unified crew with purpose and direction.

This is our verse. This is our initiative.

Charter

As a member of United Danes Initiative (UDI), you are part of a cooperative, respectful and inclusive community. All members are expected to uphold the following principles:

1. Respect others
Treat fellow members — and all players — with dignity, tolerance, and maturity. Harassment, racism, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.

2. Fly together
Support your fellow Danes in the ‘verse. Whether in combat, trade, mining or exploration — cooperation and camaraderie are at our core.

3. Play your way
UDI welcomes all playstyles: casual or committed, peaceful or tactical. However, actions that damage the org’s reputation (e.g. piracy against allies, griefing) are discouraged.

4. Use common channels
Stay connected through our Discord and in-game communications. That’s where we plan, chat, and build our shared identity.

5. Be proud — and welcoming
We fly under the Danish banner, but welcome all friendly spirits. Represent UDI with honor, humor and humility — in all corners of the ‘verse.
