History

The Unholy Maiden Crew took its name from an legendary ship — a vessel feared and revered long before we ever called it home. Originally a nameless craft lost to the void, the ship was recovered by a ragtag group of survivors and rebels who wanted to honor the legendary figure, Soraya Drake. Soraya was a fierce pilot and freedom fighter, a woman of unwavering conviction whose story is as much myth as history. She was a rebel, a pirate, and a symbol of defiance against all chains of allegiance. When Soraya was shot down in a skirmish on the edge of uncharted space, her ship was presumed lost alongside her, vanishing without a trace.

When we reclaimed the battered vessel, we named her the Unholy Maiden as a tribute to Soraya’s indomitable spirit and to carry forward her legacy. Thus, the Unholy Maiden Crew was born — not as a rigid organization, but as a gathering of kindred spirits drawn to Soraya’s ideals of freedom and independence. We were all, in one way or another, misfits, outcasts, or exiles. The Maiden became our sanctuary, our promise to carry forth her legacy through our own lives and choices.

Today, we fly the Unholy Maiden through open space, embodying the freedom Soraya fought for. We are explorers, miners, fighters, and crafters, each following our own course yet united by a single ship and the memory of a woman who would never yield. With no captains or titles, we honor Soraya by defending her dream: a place where each one of us can carve our own path through the stars, without limits and without fear.
