The collective formation of street gangs in the former location of England, historically known as the Peaky Blinders, acquired prominence in the relative area. No political ambition, control is sought, by the Blinders and other, more established gangs.

-1894-Birmingham
The Peaky Blinders become most powerful band of gangsters in the Birmingham region, HQ operating and assimilated out of Small Heath. Blinders begin more aggressive approach with policing officers in the region. Late in the year Police force in area orders 150 long guns. The Birmingham Boys, a group led by Billy Kimber, acquire some territory in the northern part of Birmingham.

Laws passed effectively enabling “stricter policing and tougher sentencing” on all crimes linked to organized crime, and criminal gang affiliation…

-1897-Birmingham
Peaky Blinders have a stand off with police. after a 40 minute standstill, first shots were fired and war raged in the streets of Birmingham between gang members and officers for 17 hours. More units from adjacent cities arrived days later, arresting some members that surrendered during fighting. Others fled or fought until death.

-1899-Small Heath, Birmingham
Two original founders of the gang are killed in assassination attempts by the Birmingham Boys and the Sabini organization. Leaving three founders and six men left in the group to flee to countryside in hiding.

Descendants of the organization move their families away from the UK and to Canada where they reside for the next century.

Mars Tragedy occurs claiming the lives of a few thousand mine workers. One being great descendant Jonathon Shelby. The family distraught looks for answers from Roberts Space Industries on terraforming catastrophe. A bit out of touch from the ways of their forefathers, they take a legal approach to the situation.

Legal matter between Shelby family and RSI concludes in RSI favor. Shelby family receives no compensation for loss.

Shelby family relocates to United States, where the breakthrough in space exploration, transportation, and technology is of significant prestige. Seeking a future in the stars.
