History
Born in the outer reaches where industry was both lifeline and weapon, The Gearwright Dominion began as a union of scattered miners and haulers.
Lacking the protection of corporate fleets or UEE patrols, these pioneers banded together under one principle: survival through sovereignty. The forge of necessity tempered them into a Dominion — a self-reliant empire of steel and will.
Over decades, their reputation spread. Contracts once overlooked by megacorps found steady hands in the Dominion. Caravans once plagued by pirates found safe passage under its Ironbound guards. From clandestine smuggling lanes to official UEE trade routes, the Dominion’s emblem became a mark of reliability — and power.
Now, as Stanton thrives and Pyro beckons, The Gearwright Dominion expands once more, bringing its mechanical order to the chaos of the verse.
Manifesto
The Dominion does not promise wealth. It promises motion.
A cog that turns serves the machine. A machine that runs serves its Dominion. And a Dominion that endures serves all within it.
We are:
Industrialists – Extractors, refiners, and haulers who see resources not as numbers on a ledger, but as the lifeblood of empires.
Defenders – Iron Vanguards and Steel Sentinels who safeguard our fleets and enforce Dominion sovereignty.
Explorers – Voidwrights and Pulse Runners who map the unknown, ensuring the Dominion is always first to new opportunity.
Builders – Gearsmiths and Steelwrights who keep our fleets, factories, and weapons running.
Voices – Vox Machina, who carry our name into every system, ensuring the verse knows of the Dominion’s strength.
No citizen of the Dominion is idle. Whether mining, trading, fighting, or forging, all who serve are part of the Eternal Cog. Together, we grind forward. Together, we endure.
