THE PROTECTORS: Stewards of the Frontier
In the year 2945 A.U.C. (2491 AD), the Stanton system simmered with tension. Once a thriving hub of commerce and industry under the watchful eye of the United Empire of Earth (UEE), the system had become a volatile battleground. Pirate factions roamed the shadows, corporate disputes flared, and the innocent often found themselves trapped between forces far greater than they could comprehend.

Among the most notorious pirate groups were the Cutlass Corsairs, a band of ruthless marauders operating from hidden bases in the asteroid belts and moons surrounding Hurston. Their goal was clear: to control key trade routes vital to Hurston Dynamics’ industrial empire, extort cargo shipments, and disrupt the fragile peace maintained by local security forces.

Amid this rising storm, a small band of veterans emerged—former soldiers from both the UEE Army and Navy—united not by paychecks but by purpose. They formed THE PROTECTORS, a disciplined, elite task force known as S.T.E.W.A.R.D.S. (Strategic Taskforce for Extraction, Warfare, Aid, Rescue, Defense & Security). Rejecting the mercenary life, they pledged to safeguard those caught in the crossfire, uphold justice, and act with honor.

Their crucible came when the Cutlass Corsairs launched a massive assault on a convoy vital to Hurston’s industrial supply chain. Partnering with Hurston Dynamics Security, THE PROTECTORS fought with unyielding resolve. Under relentless fire, they executed precise extractions and defensive maneuvers that turned what could have been a massacre into a decisive victory. This battle forged a lasting alliance with lawful factions, including the UEE Marshals and planetary security forces, who came to respect the Protectors’ integrity and effectiveness.

Today, THE PROTECTORS stand as a vigilant shield across the frontier, wherever order is fragile and lives are at risk. Their creed, De Oppresso Liber — “To Free the Oppressed” — guides every mission. They are more than soldiers; they are stewards of justice, hope, and resilience in an uncertain galaxy.
